Well I was a creationist until the age of 5 or 6 I guess, when common sense told me that it didn't make any sense.
Will that work for you?

Evolutionist really don't exist, as evolution is a scientific theory and not a "belief". Creationism is a "belief" back by extremely poor science, if you can call it science.
I don't pay attention to people switching, as science is not dependant on what a person believes or who believes what, but it is based on the evidence and facts.
Edit:
You do not "preach" evolution any more thn you preach gravity, relativity, ot the laws of thermodynamics.
And yes, I believed in creationism until about 5 years ago, until I started researching it's claims, and released how ignorant they were.

Evolutionist?
Is that like gravityist or atomictheoryist?
**
Thanks for the clarification. So by extension, a gravityist is someone who preaches gravity and refutes any type of creation or creation by a higher being?
Wow. I'm going tp make a prediction: You are religious, have no knowledge of science, and will never be a scientist.
Let me ask you this: Do you think those who know nothing about a subject are capable of discussing it? If I know nothing about engineering, do you think I should be a part of a discussion about engineering a bridge?

You have to realize Christian does not mean happy. Putting on a smile and going to sit in the same seats at church does not mean someone is happy. Look at the apostle Paul who became a Christian as an adult. Actually, he persecuted Christians until he became one. He probably would have thought his life was pretty good. His life became a lot worse when he began spreading the gospel. Actually if you look at any of the apostles, they all died horrible deaths. Peter was crucified upside down Andrew was also crucified Matthew was murdered in Ethiopia James was stoned until his brains came out of his head Judas ... well he hung himself and his body fell down into a canyon Paul was beheaded at the order of Nero Doesn't sound too good of a life, but they held fast to their faith in Christ even in the bad times.

I waited to answer this until it was buried a few pages back, since, I didn't want my answer to inspire another round of "answers" that had nothing to do with the question you asked. Some folks seem to looks for chances to tell you how silly your questions are .
Anyway, you'll find a lot of information on scientists from several different fields that used to follow the evolutionary theory but have become "creationists" on the Answers in Genesis website. They have biographies as well as interviews that give their reasons for changing their views. Here's the link - and I hope you do well on the essay!

Dr. John Whitcomb was raised on the teachings of evolution theory which he accepted at the time and came to know the truth of the creation account in the Bible in college, becoming a great scholar, writer and speaker for Biblical creationism.
