Around 200 000 years for the homo sapiens species, 2,000,000 for homo erectus and 2,800,000 for homo habilis.
Then 7,000,000 for australopithecus.

So which are you talking about, us sapiens, the homo genus or the whole branch as far back as we can judge?

the oldest fossil evidence for anatomically modern humans is about 130,000 years old in Africa, and there is evidence for modern humans in the Near East sometime before 90,000 years ago.

Of course, you ask about the 'human race' which is rather fuzzy - how do you define human? Would you include earlier homonids, in which case the date goes back by two or three million years! And how do you define race? Do you mean culture? Civilization? In which case we are talking more recently!

Around 200,000 years. Its hard to put a number on it because the emergence of a new species isn't a cut and dry process. The whole thing is very gradual. The hominids (upright primates) have been around for over 2 million years.

DNA evidence indicates that modern humans have been around for about 200,000 years. However, this refers only to MODERN HUMANS. The evidence suggests that our ancestors diverged from the ancestors of the modern chimpanzee about 6 million years ago.
