Yes sadly it has and the other person who answered this is right it has cost thousands of innocent lives including children.
They had a prob with my son when they paid me a visit and I told them about his Hemophilia and the fact he needed blood and blood products I felt they treated him like a leper - he was only 6 years old at the time!!

Let me pose this question to you.
How many people do you know truthfully who have had transfusions and still died?
I personally have know many, one was my paternal grandmother's 2nd husband.....he was a "minister" and begged her not to let him receive blood, but she listened to the doctors instead......and no he WAS NOT A JW....he was a preacher of Christendom.
Why would anybody want to take someone else's blood into their body anyway? There are inherited diseases in that blood, as well as stds, aids, and God only knows what else!
No, JW's have NOT misunderstood the teachings of the Bible....we trust Jehovah completely and are therefore obedient to HIM in all things.

I have been thinking about that. I agree with what Sugarbee says. I wouldn't like someone elses blood inside of me and who knows what they got. You know we are not just talking about "cooties". I will go for saving my own blood in case of emergency.

There is a big difference between misunderstanding
what they feel the need to believe and twisting it to
do as they feel. This doesn't apply to only jw's, though.

Literal interpretations from Bronze Age tribal directions are hardly relevant to today's needs and conditions. We need to move on.

Yes, and it has, is and will cost many people their lives.
They misunderstand who Jesus is, the Holy Spirit, salvation, being born again and the resurrection, should I go on!
