that creationists "don't mind being beaten in an argument. What matters is that we give them recognition by bothering to argue with them in public."[

That's the stated game plan of ID in fact. Is to keep the pot stirred and keep their brand of creationism talked about.

ID promoters want their notions challenged and denounced. That way they can rally mainstream Christians to their cause by crying that science is attacking religion.

john a, I'm sorry but I wish there were some other way to put this but that is so poorly thought out it's hard to know where to begin.

The greatest evidence in evolution's favor may be the fact that people like you have to lie and ignore over a century of science just to make your argument.

You proved nothing except that you know nothing about science or evolution. I also suspect you knew that everything you wrote was a lie.

creationists often say that the entire universe was created in six literal 24-hour days some 6,000 years ago. With teachings like this, they misrepresent the Bible, which says that God created the heavens and the earth “in the beginning”—at some unstated point before the more specific creative “days” began. (Genesis 1:1) Significantly, the Genesis account shows that the expression “day” is used in a flexible sense. At Genesis 2:4, the entire period of six days described in the preceding chapter is spoken of as only one day. Logically, these were, not literal days of 24 hours, but long periods of time. Each of these epochs evidently lasted thousands of years.

Even when you think you've won, I will never be beaten in an argument about creation vs. Evolution. And if any Christian ever was beaten, they wouldn't care, that's another great thing about us, we forget about the past, all of our flaws and move on. That's one thing that isn't possible for Atheists.

I view the whole "evolution vs. creation" argument as entertainment.

Neither side is ever going to sway the other.

Each side believes that it's right beyond any reasonable doubt.

Each side believes that the other side is "full of it".

Neither side is willing to consider any other option.

Interesting, huh?

Both evolution and creation is a theory. The problem is neither can be proven 100% ccorrect so why are evolutionist so sure they are right and will not let anyone have a different view. Isn't this freedom of speech? Both should be taught but to a extent. By the way did you know the Darwin fake some bones and proven to lie in court so there goes my trust in evolution. Same as a evolutionist can show problems in creation point of view. Neither side can prove their point. Goodbye I proved you wrong.
