She probably will have problems due to her age. You can't get help here, she needs to see a vet to make sure that things are going to be okay. She is way too old to have a first litter, let alone any litter. Take her to the vet. The time to worry about problems was when she was being bred by whatever male it was that got her. You should have had her spayed when you got her.

If you want to make sure that she's healthy enough for puppies how about you take her to the vet and have him assess her overall health and ability to give birth?
Does she suffer from hip dysplasia? How are her eyes and elbows and knees? Any problems there? If so - abort the litter - these are genetic issues that can be passed down.
Who's the father of the pups? How did he get to your female? Why wasn't she spayed? Any idea whether or not either of them have an STD?
How many pups is she having? Do you know what to do? Can you take several weeks off of work to stay home with her and the pups to make sure that everything is going ok?
There are a lot of things to consider when allowing your dog to become pregnant - and yes, if you have an unspayed female that you lost control of just for a moment, by not spaying her - you allowed this to be a possibility.
THere's not reason - unless she's 58 days along, that you can't still spay her and abort the litter. It beats losing your female, it beats losing all the pups, it beats a lot of things.
Please check out this website http://www.learntobreed.com/
It has a check list of things that you should do/think about/ that are needed.
And please please get her to the vet so that he/she can talk with you about this.

Have your vet check her out and be sure she and the pups are ok. And when the pups are all in good homes, have her neutered.
She will start looking for a place so provide her with a nice quiet, dark area like a closet. With some rags and towels and may some of your old t shirts. She may need your help so be ready with some extra towels. Her breast will swell and begin to product a milky substance, right before he due date. Show her the space you fixed and encourage he to go into it. If she doesn't like the space watch her and move it when she wants. Otherwise, she will have them someplace you may not want.

She will get quiet and begin looking for a comfortable spot to nest. If she loves being near you, she will stay close by and make eye-contact often. She may try and make a little pillow "more comfortable" by scratching around. This is called nesting. It will become her safe-haven for the puppies. Use a thermometer and place it in her recturm (not her mouth). Her temperature will be 100 or less if time is getting close. Keep an eye on her for fast, heavy breathing. If she begins to push..........the time is near.

The most accurate way is to take her temperature, a normal temp for dogs is between 101.5 and 102.5, her temp will drop to between 99.0 and 100.0 about 12-24 hours before whelping. Go online to a pet website and they can help with first time whelpers.

She will hide more often and look for a place to have her pups, once she finds the right place, she will stay there for a while, and and she will pant as if shes hot.... I dont think she will have any problems but if she does take her to the vet, but I dont think anything will be wrong.

They are customarily pregnant for sixty three days. You will detect her producting milk three-four days earlier than she has puppies. When it's time to provide, your puppy’s frame temperature will drop quite. You can track this with a rectal thermometer. Normal dog temperature is among one hundred-102 levels. When it drops beneath one hundred levels, you'll be able to customarily count on exertions in 24 hours. When your puppy begins to enter exertions, she is going to grow to be stressed and might pant, shiver, or vomit. This is typical. Make certain to furnish contemporary water to her continually. This degree of work might final as much as 12 hours. When she starts to provide the puppies, they'll be blanketed with a skinny membrane which ought to be cleared away. The mom must do that herself, however must she forget to try this, you are going to ought to transparent it away or the doggy will suffocate. You will ought to tie the umbilical cords in a knot and reduce them above the knot. Pups will come approximately one in keeping with hour with as much as part an hour of straining in among deliveries. It isn't distinctive to your puppy to take a holiday of a couple of hours in the course of supply.
