I have a problem with mice living under the floorboards. i have tried poison and traps. i caught 6 of them using cheese but now the other mice won't take the bait. i'm trying chocolate at the moment, but what i'd like to know is: what is the best thing to put on the traps to make them go for it?

They say to use cheese because it smell strongly, but mice (and generally all rodents / humans / other animals) prefer sweet things.

Find something sweet and smelly.

PLEASE don't kill them use humane mouse traps and take them about 10 miles away from your house to release them.
