i am supposed to gain weight, but i can't seem to do this. i am eating more than usual, but i can't seem to gain anything. i eat constantly, can anyone recommend me any tips on how to do this, thank you

i heard eating constantly speeds your metabolism, if this is true, then how do i go about this?

You don't state your age, height, or actual weight. And you just say that you want to gain weight. What kind of weight do you want to gain? Fat? That's easy to do, but unhealthy!!

If you want to gain healthy weight (muscle), in general you can gain muscular weight by eating lots of high protein, low fat, moderate carb foods and lifting weights. This is an over simplified answer, but it gives you a place to start.

Make an appointment with your doctor to have him check out your metabolic rate or other possible medical problem(s). Other than metabolism, a cause could be the existance of a tape worm. This resides in the intestinal tract and usually precludes any weight gain. Any medical problems should be detectable by your doctor.

Maybe eating very frequently isn't working. What do you eat? If you're eating celery all the time, you won't gain weight. Try snacking on healthy stuff that's loaded with calories. Like nuts. You know how Italians eat bread dipped in olive oil? Olive oil has a lot of calories, so put it on anything that you can. Pasta, bread, salads. Even meat. Avocados have calories. Try to eat heavy stuff.

Well again an another similar question. If you are underweight it is because of high natural metabolism rate(good thing!) and eatin more will note help just ruin your health. You should do weight training and a lot of girls think it was for boys only but it can help girls look awesome.
