The apostles made no change to the Sabbath. That is a lie. Rather they celebrated Jesus' resurrection on the first day of the week. Sunday. The Hebrew Shabbat has always been Saturday. The church Sabbath is every day of the week.

Jesus ascended into heaven in 3 days after his resurrection from the top of the cross.
the apostles changed the lords day from Saturday to Sunday

Mary Magdalene (John 20:14-18)
40 days,
Mount Olivet/Mount of Olives (Acts 1:12)
Scripture doesn't record who changed the day of worship from Saturday to Sunday, but by the time of Paul most Gentile believers worshipped on Sunday (the first day of the week). Paul and Silas did try to find Jewish or converts to Judaism on the Sabbath day, in Philippi, as late as Acts 16.
Some very good websites for Bible study are as follows:
www.blueletterbible.org (versions, concordance, dictionaries, and free daily devotionals, too)
www.ccel.org (More authors then blue letter, other versions and more commentaries too)
www.e-sword.net (Please check the spelling on this one or use Google, etc., to verify)
Please let us know if you are looking for something more specific. Best wishes to you in your search to know the Bible better!

Mary Magdalene
40
Mount of Olives
The apostles DID NOT change the Sabbath to anything- they continued to observe the Sabbath as God ordained and commanded, following God's order and instruction rather than the instruction and disorder of man- the Catholic church changed the Sabbath outside of God's authority in order to accomodate pagan rituals.
