From the additional information you provided, it sounds like you are making acidulated water, to keep cut fruit from turning brown. I really don't think you can get 4 Tbsp, which is 1/4 cup of juice from one typical lemon. You can use 2-3 Tbsp juice in a cup of water to make acidulated water. On the other hand, if you are making a lemon pie, then use the higher amount of lemon juice, 1/4 cup/4 Tbsp.

Use about 2-3 Tablespoons (30-45 ml) of juice to equal one lemon. If lemon isn't the main ingredient in the recipe, I'd go with the lesser amount.

You should get about 1/4 cup of juice from one lemon. So 1/4 cup of lemon juice should equal one lemon.

My Betty Crocker cookbook says one lemon yields 4 Tbsp of lemon juice. Of course that depends on the size of the lemon, but that's the average.

Use the lemon, i do no longer think of it concerns what variety however the yellow ones tend to have extra juice. The lemon juice from the bottle has a collection of extra issues which you probable do no longer desire on your face.
