Tattingers Blanc de Blanc, any vintage year is the classiest of the top champagnes including Cristal and DP. Bring along Strawberries and Chocolate for a night to remember. From a former 1st Cav trooper.

My favorite champagne is Veuve Clicquot. It's not the most expensive you can buy - it runs about $55 here in Ohio, less in other states - but it's great. I've had others that cost two or three times as much that I didn't like as well.

Stay safe and have a great reunion!

Taste is so subjective. That said, I've tried Dom and didn't like it at all. My favorite is Mumms. It's only about $25 a bottle. Go for the blanc de blancs or the demi-sec if you can find it. But you can't go wrong with Mumms. (The CA Mumms, not the French Mumms).

God bless you, and thank you for what you're doing over there.

The best champagne has no dollar value but a taste value. What you like in taste is the best champagne to buy
