how do i tell my parents...?

that i wanna start dating?
im in 9th grade and ive had bf's b4 they just never knew...im tired of sneaking around.

also. they think im too young to date.

Hey girl.... you know your parents, I hope. This is not going to be your first serious talk with them ever? Then be brave. You can start while you are all together at the table. If you can't find it in your guts (I should not say that word while you're eating, lol) bring the subject to a trusted relative from either side of the family, sort of to test the waters. Or else, go right at it. Turn things around to your advantage; ask them how they dealt with your situation. Remember this: they were kids just like you at one time in the past... just like you young lady and they should appreciate that you are coming forward and not hiding anything from them. It will go a long way as a foundation of trust between you and them. Anyway, they survived it and now it's you who has to go through the whole thing again.... think of you in the future when your own kids have to face your situation. Good luck and have a brave heart. They'll love you more... lol

why do you wanna date so bad, your parents truly have your best interest in heart. Are you screaming to be a teenage parent or something. Stick to the books and leave the boys alone, you have your whole life ahead of you for that. Highschool is only 4 yrs and they are going to fly by fast. As a 25 yr old, trust me listen to your parents. You are not missing nothing. Boys at that age slow down progress.

Is there a sister that could help? Or someone else? If not, start saying things like "I'm getting older" and "Soon I will be driving" etc. After a week or two tell them you like a boy and would like to invite him over to have study time. Later dinner. Later, a date.

9th grade is a hard year for parents as well as young girls. No your not too young the boys are too old. It really depends on you as a young lady. by the way we as parents trust our children its the boys they choose to go out with that we don't trust.

Well you have to show them your responsible
give them some ground rules you set for yourself
tell them what will and wont happen if you are allowed to date
Tell them you'll introduce the guy maybe before its offical
If you prove to them that your willing to compromise and take responsibility they'll be more willing to let you date
Just find a list of reasons why it should happen and prepare for questions they might ask!

im in 8 grade and im not aloud to date until im 16. but it might be different in your house. u should just talk to your parents about it and see what they say

i think the foreign countries are much more open than the asian countries!
if you love someone, and this person also really loves you, then it wouldn't be a problem... only if u won't get ur mother a grandson, and just talk to them, to let them know you won't do anything silly..

that's tough its the same for me i can't date till i'm 18. and if ur parents are enything like mine it's a lost cause. but it might help if you just talked to them. it might work unless you did something really dumb that causes not to trust you,
