Sorry, but this one has appeared so many times that I'm going to give you the links. It takes pages to lay it all out, complete with verses.
Bottom line, he was not born in December. The Bible lays out the birth (but you have to hunt), and it was during Sukkot, the Feast of Tabernacles. As an adult, it was at the same feast that He declared himself. (See John) The Old Testament tells us that one day all nations will celebrate that particular feast only.
God bless
Edit: He was conceived during Hanukkah. It's all in the Bible, if you piece it together.

I agree with Naomi T. My dad always said that if Jesus existed, he couldn't have been born on the 25th of December because of the flocks of sheep (with their shepherds) being out in the fields at that time of year. It's just a day set aside to celebrate Christmas (even though Jesus wasn't born at this time).

It doesn't. We don't actually know when he was born but we thought we'd add a bit of worship into the Pagan mid-winter festival that existed before Christmas and use it to celebrate the birth of Christ. And it wouldn't give a birthday in the Bible because they didn't have the same calender at that time as we have now.

The Romans celebrated Saturnalia a Pagan fest around this time.
Jesus instructed His followers not to follow this custom.I Should imagine He would be horrified to see so called Christians using a pagan festival to celebrate His birth.

Every pagan religion in the world has festivities at this time of year, Christianity didn't.
As another way of taking over the older religions they merged and changed their own festivals as well as all the old ones. Easter, Samhain and Yule are the main three.

He was not born in December, but probably conceived at that time. I don't think He cares when we celebrate His birth. I think He is not happy about people running around like crazy buying out of their means. Christmas is about being thankful for Jesus, not santa and gifts.

They picked that time to coincide with the Yule festivals of the pagan religions. We all know he wasn't born in December.
He was born April 15-tax day, right?

Jesus was born during the Feast of Trumpets (around late September). However, if you count backwards from a nine month gestation period, we come to late December. Yes, Jesus was not born in December, however, it just may be that He was conceived on Christmas Day, just so we won't feel so condemned by the Jehovah Witnesses. ;)

It doesn't - he was more likely to have been born in the Spring because there was lambs in the fields. When Christianity was brought to the U.K we were pagans and worshiped trees. We changed the facts to suit ourselves.

No date is given. 'Christmas' was the invention of the Roman Empire, which was an oppressive police state.
We are here to make our choices.
