Ok, so are the virgins women that died on earth without knowing a mans touch, or are they conjured up by god as a reward, do you get to keep them all in a harem, or is it once they are used they are gone, do they have personality or do they only get the anatomy. Does this create like a soul inflation, with too many extra people in paradise.

You have the philosphy all wrong.
When they arrive in heaven it is a paradise with a river beside the river is big eyed virgins made perfect by God just for them knowing what they like. They are not people with souls. They see women more like we see animals without a heavenly reward. Mohammad said, "most women will go to hell." so they leave behind their wives, knowing that when they die they will most likely go to hell.
Unless they do a lot of suffering while they are on earth.
God will make them more Virgins as the need arises.
While some are fased out and others replace them.
He said, 'It was more like a vision or a dream when you sleep." They don't see this heaven or paradise as a real place but more like a dream. Just saying what he said, no comments of my own. Not putting it down or adding to it.
That is how it was explained to me.

The number 72 is mentioned in an unauthentic hadeeth .. Muslims do not believe that unauthentic hadeeths are true .. period.
However to answer your questions:
- No they are created by God .. they are not human like us:
Qur'an: [56:35-36] We have created (their Companions) of special creation .. And made them virgin pure (and undefiled).
- We keep them.
- They have personality .. but they are still special creations.
- Paradise is unlimited and infinite.

I know Christians who have stopped believing in the fires of hell when they learned that others believed in the 72 Virgins in heaven.
Perhaps Jesus Christ (pbuh) was more on the mark when he said that hell was a place with bad feelings and the gnashing of teeth. Maybe he was warning the people that they could create their own heaven or hell due to their behaviour on this earth.
This thinking brings us to eastern religions and Karma. Whether on this earth or not, the goblins are gonna get you if you don't watch out.

Allah promised virgins to the believing men of this world; they are not from this world, they are created by God and are waiting for the believing men to die , thus they are thier reward; as for the believing women, they will have a much higher staus in Paradise because they went throught the tough trials of this world and passed; they will recieve much reward if they make it insha-Allah

Who the hell want 72 virgins?! It's bad enough teaching ONE virgin to be good in bed, 72 would be a nightmare. And when would you ever get to watch TV or hang out with the guys or go for a beer? And imagine, after 6 months their periods would all synchronise and you'd be living with 72 inexperienced premenstrual women. Doesn't sound like heaven to me, more like hell.

There have not been enough virgins on earth to possibly supply every martyr with 72. That is why after 9/11/2001 Allah had to switch from virgins to camels.

Maybe you get 72 virgins and you are not allowed to "touch" them so they remain virgins. (You can look, but don't touch.) That way 72 virgins would be enough for all martyrs.

I believe they are not human. The houris' hymens grow back overnight. They have perfectly matched personalities to their martyrs, take care that women do not annoy their husbands, and are very beautiful
Now there's a similar deal for women, but since guys have no outward signs of virginity I wonder how that deal works.
