Should I have completed my confession or excused myself? I stayed and the priest was having a hard time I could tell. Help me please.

It's not a big deal - you're not the first person who's tooted in the confessional. The priest is probably used to it - poor guy. I had a girlfriend in grade school who peed in the confessional and shorted out the light above the door (it was activated by the kneeler). The rest of us laughed so hard we had to leave church and go outside.

Perhaps it is part of the priest's job to take on this adversity (tooted up confession booths) and others. If the priest is good, this was just an added challenge he's willing to take on. You could have asked the priest, but, as it is you stayed the course and the priest did too.

It's a human thing that even the Priest does and so can understand. Excuse yourself politly and continue. Don't make a big issue of it. After all, it happens in some very conspicuous public places now and then also.

Confess. My brother does that all the time! He just says "hey guess what, I tooted!" He even says that when he did even do anything! So confess, hey! so people will laugh at you! Do what my brother does! Then peopl would belive you and you're off the hook!

Dont do a thing, first of all, you dont have to confess nothing to a priest you have to confess it to Jesus who suffer the death for your sins, not anyone else.

confession is a time when you should be completely honest. tooting is not a sin, but a bodily function that God intended to happen, but if it made you feel guilty, you should have confessed.
