Roasted Garlic Dipping Sauce:

50 min 10 min prep
2-4 servings

1 head garlic (whole bulb)
3 tablespoons mayonnaise
3 tablespoons sour cream
3 tablespoons olive oil
salt and pepper

Cut off top of garlic bulb to expose most of the garlic cloves.
Put the bulb in an oven-safe small dish or on top of a sheet of foil.
Drizzle olive oil on the tops of the garlic cloves, add more if needed to drench the tops and sides of the whole bulb. Sprinkle some salt on the top of the bulb on the oil.
Wrap or seal up the garlic bulb with foil.
Roast in oven at 400°F for 30-40 minutes, until tops and sides are browned and roasted.
Take out of the oven and cool for 10 minutes.
When cooled enough to handle, squeeze out the garlic cloves from the root or the bottom of the bulb, into a small bowl.
Add mayonnaise and sour cream, using a fork, stir until blended.
Add pepper to taste, and salt if needed.

It kind of depends on what you have in the house and what you like. For a base you can use a combination of cream cheese mixed with yogurt, sour cream, and/or mayonaise add some chopped garlic, fresh or from a jar, some dried herbs and spices (whatever you like) and a touch of salt and pepper. Put it all in a food processor and mix together. The amounts of each ingredient depend on your taste. If you want more garlic or herb flavor then add more. If you want the dip thicker, use more cream cheese, thinner, use more or the mayo, sour cream, or yogurt. Or you can leave the cream cheese out entirely and it would have the consistency of whatever you use (mayo, yogurt, or sour cream, it is entirely up to your taste.

I found one but I'm not quite sure if its what you are looking for:

Creamy Garlic Dip with Crudites

1 cup sour cream, (an 8-ounce container)
1/2 cup NESTLÉ® CARNATION® Nonfat Dry Milk
2 tablespoons sliced green onions, (about 2 medium)
1 tablespoon cider vinegar
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 platter assorted fresh vegetables, for dipping
Combine sour cream, dry milk, green onions, vinegar, garlic, salt and pepper in small bowl; stir until smooth. Serve with vegetables.
Makes 12 servings or 1 1/4 cups dip.

Note: For a lower fat dip, substitute 8-ounce container light or nonfat sour cream for sour cream.

This one seems pretty simple. If you don't have white wine, you can substitute chicken broth or probably even water.
