Actual faith in The Absolute truth will bring one to all pure understandings. But if one does not know what the Absolute Truth is and takes faith in something lesser than that will not be sufficient. For the Absolute Truth and pure Universal understanding of God also known as Krishna, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, Rama, etc. Read Bhagavad Gita as it is by Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada. asitis.com can be read on line. (But the book has more with purports) I am so glad I found this amazing unlimited understanding of God. I now understand Him without a doubt and all of the other religions too. The Gita is the only word of God spoken directly by God where others are spoken about Him. (Not a fanatical statement). for more info go to harekrishnatemple.com The Bhagavad Gita (Song of God) is meant for the whole world and the entire universe.

‘Is Faith alone? 'No. But Faith is indeed a powerful implement of and for Love, for no one who has little Faith can be convinced in Truth and one who has Faith needs little convincing. Faith demonstrates the vastness of provisions accorded us. It is one of numerous light-conferring, hope-abiding things provided us that help us to arrive at Truth, an entirety too great for even the greatest to surmount.
The state that is "alone" is the operative import here.
Alone of anything is seldom if ever quite "sufficient" [if sufficiency should be ever esteemed a good stead] and in these worlds quite incapable of occurring.
There comes with lightning speed ever a foil that underpins aloneness with as much ease as Intent itself could endeavor to be "alone," for aloneness depends on a 'with' or a 'together' or a 'harmony' that this Aloneness can even exists in the first place. Vice versa, these same states of being depend on an Aloneness that 'they' can exist as well.
What a strange dichotomy, is it not? Checkmate and check: the foil writ large.
The worlds were created because Some One Thing, if you wish, did not see that aloneness carries. Being Alone, till then but molten potential un-manifested -- that same Some One Thing was a Sea of un-differientiated consciousness, and not until creation did ensue with a "with" would life manifest 'to' and fulfill 'of' the great purpose for which it was brought into being at the outset.

If you believe that all faiths are leading to the same truth ,then faith alone is sufficient to know that truth.

No. The desire for truth is what you need to discover it. Without the desire there will be no attempt for reason or study.
Faith is to believe the evidence when presented-- when it goes beyond the physical and materialistic. You must approach it in a judicial way. The word "testament" is a legal term. You are seeking the truth through evidence and reason. Faith allows you to accept the possibility that there is spiritual dimension and the Word of God is from that perspective. This is based on lateral thinking and reason.

No, faith is faith
Truth is truth.
Knowing is knowing.
Faith in what?
The truth when known is lived. I feel to know the truth, one must understand love.
Faith in, does not denote knowledge in, or Truth Realised.
Faith in the truth when known is a given.
Blessings be.

Coyotes have no faith or beliefs except that when our paws drop down the earth will meet them in it's embrace. We have found this to be true through our own experience. Faith must be backed up by experience, you are right brother to ask each of there own views. This is what the great Mystic Christ meant when he said "Faith without works are dead".

Faith alone is sufficient to take you to your truth.
Truth is something intangible, unreachable and impossible to be grasped by one person or one group of people. However, we all have pieces of the truth, the one that fits our level of spirituality and comprehension.
Peace!

Faith is one thing, The Truth is something else. "For you shall know the truth, and the truth, will set you free" "If the truth shall do harm in anyway, better to do the harm, than the truth be concealed"
