I don't know how "legal" it is to scan a drivers license, but. Scan the license and save it as a file on your desk top. Now just attach this file to your e-mail. Remember that what you are attaching is a photo. A scanner is in all actuality a camera and takes a picture of what you are scanning. So treat is like you would any photo.

By the way, if your scanner will allow you to choose the file type under which you can save the image, choose jpg or jpeg because tiff and btm files are way to big for the web, and take to long to send.

In your settings for your scanner you should be able to email it to a person! Good luck!!
