God in his entirety did not die - the human Son of Man died. God the Father and God the Holy Spirit were 'looking on' as it were as Christ was crucified. Christ allowed this to happen in order to defeat the works of the devil and rescue us miserable sinners from the consequence of our sin - death. He could have come down from the cross, as his enemies taunted him to do, but then the plan of salvation would have failed. So God is way ahead of his own creation, who take more pride in their common sense than in his omnipotence. And Jesus knew better than the man who called him 'good' what that really meant. Notice that he did not deny being 'good'!

I so agree with you. I don't believe Jesus is God in the very least. There is only one scripture that seems to confuse people. John 1:1
In Colossians 1:14, 15 it even states "by means of whom we have our release by ransom, the forgiveness of our sins. He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation."
Now, take this one lone scripture into account. It says, first of all, that he "is the IMAGE of the invisible God" not God. Second, it says that he is "the firstborn of all creation." God is the Alpha and the Omega, he has no beginning or ending. He has always been and always will be.
Another scripture? Matthew 3:17
"Look! Also, there was a voice from the heavens that said: "This is my Son, the beloved, whom I have approved."
Not "this is I standing here before you". And if he were God, wouldn't it be vain to anounce to everyone that he approves of himself in such a way? God is good and does not have that in him.
Then another John 1:18 "No man has seen God at any time; only the only begotten god who is in the bosom position with the Father is the one that has explained him."
Yes they call him a begotten god because he is permitted to rule over us. But notice that in the scripture God in in lowercase when it pertains to Jesus. Also, it says that no man has seen God at ANY TIME. It does not say, "except for in the flesh" does it? Also, it says that Jesus "explained" him and not was Him.
Also, what about the scripture that says that no one knows the time of the end, not even Jesus. So if Jesus is God, how could he not know? I think that one is Rev, but just can't find it at the moment.
So, I truly believe Jesus is God's son, but not the Father himself.

You are not your finger but you are the one who uses the finger
You are not your body but you are the one that dwells in the body
You are not his manifested dream but you are the one that dreams this dream that is manifesting
the dream that is manifesting has no good - it just is. The Good is in the dreamer that gives forth the imaginations dreams for the angels of creation to gather to use to construct the manifest through which you experience the good.
That Manifest creation is not separate from you that dreamed it for you both are also part of the One that is ongoing.
The Lie of Religiosity Tyranny is not in saying that Jesus was God, If They killed Him to shut him up why do you think they would then tell you what He Taught?
The lie of saying Jesus is god is the Implication that You and I are not - That your loved one's are not - that the brother or sister that religion or government tells you to kill is not also God.
By stealing God from the Sons and Daughters of God and placing it only in a single Master Teacher who they silenced forever by saying his words are in a book and you cant know more until you perish from a body - they have effectively crucified YOU and I and every other living human on the crucifix of the body making you live a life on the gallows itself.
The travesty of common sense only disappears When You yourself Resurrect your Knowingness that you are not your body and actually free your body from the dogma in your mind that you extend so much effort disbelieving thus keeping the dogma active within your body within the one that is within your body which is the one within you where the one that is good dwells.

Matthew 19: 16 When Jesus asked him that question, it was as to ask...do you believe I'm God,or are you saying you believe I'm God? and yes Jesus is God, God the Son ..read John 1: 1..The word says he made himself a little lower than the Angels..Jesus came into the world in the flesh as a man.And he gave up his life, no one could have taken it otherwise because he was Innocent, but he came here to die to pay the price for the sin of the world with his shed blood. If Satan had known the repercussion he would never have murdered Him..

There is only one God, people interpret God in different names and forms. God is the Origin and Destination of the Universe and is beyond life and death. All religions of world teach human way to get close to God. You give your Best, God will give thy Best. Ask God for help and forgive, God will help and forgive you. Pray; Worship and Thank God for everything. Remember wherever there is Happiness in Life, there will be Sorrow. To get Happiness, you must master Sorrow. For Success in Life; Believe in Self and God, Learn from Past, Concentrate in Present, Plan for Future. Have control on, be the master of, not the slave of your body, senses, and mind. Purpose of this Life is to Gain and Share utmost Knowledge and Experience to differentiate and choose Right, Good, God against Wrong, Bad, Devil. Set your Desire level perfect or OK to be brave, no low to be coward, no high to be cruel. You have rights of Survival, Self Defence, and Freedom.

The best explanation for this is to be found in the dogma of the Trinity. The real nature of God is the Trinity. Also, theologically speaking, original sin could not have been vanquished except by God and a man. Jesus was both.

In Matthew 19:16 God was actually making the claim to be God through this statement. Certainly Jesus was good... healed the sick, taught love and forgiveness, raised the dead, never sinned, so Jesus was good and asked the question to affirm this reality in those whom He was with.
God had to send Jesus because of His desire for none to parish. God sent Himself to be murdered by Men. God knows all and knew the actions that men would take concerning His Truth.

To believe in Christianity you have to swallow a lot more contradictions to 'common sense' than that one.
That tells me that there are people in this world that really need to believe in something like this.
I wonder if it is 'hard wired' into some of us? Wouldn't that explain belief in so many religions?
I mean, I don't think it would matter which religion, just that they believe in A religion.
Maybe... who knows?
Anyways, yeah, there are huge gaps in reason in most of these religions, and that is frustrating for those of us who can see them clearly. We wonder why the believers cannot see them?

don't you realize that after all this time every answer imaginable has been conjured up? They have bogus answers for all of it, the worst ones coming right from the bible itself. men, not god, NOT WOMEN, conjured up this stuff. And many additions were denied and left out. In other words, humans determined what was written and inspired by God and therefore included in the publication., and yeah, they contradict themselves.

The Trinity: The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. All three are God. God Allowed his Son to be killed, So we (his creation) would not die. (Our bodies may die, but our soul does not, unless you do not believe in Christ who was God and Man).
John 3:16- "For God so loved the world, he sent his only son, that whoever shall believe in him will not perish, but have everlasting life." Please read your Bible and open your eyes and heart!
