No, because Jesus came because no one was able to fulfil the Law (as the history books of the Old Testament and history itself prove, I think). So He said He was providing a sacrifice to get us right with God. When you become a christian you get into a process of being gradually sanctified. We only get made truly perfect in heaven. Some make little progress, some do very well, and there are reasons for this - Jesus himself taught this in the parable of the Sower in Mark 4. So one's failures to be like Jesus is just because of remaining imperfection, which one needs to overcome through the development of ones faith in God through Jesus' provided salvation measures.

Jesus is our teacher, and we try our best to live up to what is right, but we as humans are not perfect. It is a learning process and through time and study we will learn to be better, and to live by His words.

No one is able to follow His words perfectly. So you're suggesting that if one is not perfect, they should not believe in God? That's just dumb. You can do better than that.
