Listen to your parents, especially since you are a kid. They love you. Yes Jesus is real. Your friends are just your friends. And your grandmas seem a bit misguided, they should agree with your parents. Ask your parents if you can go to a Catholic Church. Please believe Jesus Christ is real.

Yes, he is real. He lived thousands of years ago and came to save the world from sins. There are many accounts of his life and many people who have died for what he represents. There are a few ways to know for sure. Read the book of John in the bible first to understand his life, death and resurrection. Also pray that God will reveal the truth to you. If you really have a desire to know the truth, God will show you. I'm not sure of your age, but there is a book called Case For Christ by Lee Strobel. The author tries to prove that Jesus didn't exist and became a believer in the process. You may want to read that to get some insight. Again, I don't know your age and how appropriate that may be for you. I know you are being told different things, but only God can tell you for sure.

Yes, Jesus was a real person. Believing in Jesus depends on your faith. If in your heart, you believe that he is real, then he's real. By the way, if you're still a little kid, what's your parents doing letting you post questions on the internet?

No. There is no evidence anywhere of any jesus ever existing as a prophet of any religion.

The Romans haven't recorded any record of any such man anywhere, and they were extremely good record keepers. These were people that even recorded the names of people they killed publicly as punishment for the masses. So you'd think that someone who caused them as much trouble as jesus would have warranted them writing something down somewhere.

Your parents and friends are right.

Oh, and btw, my Methodist Minister Father-In-Law with a Masters Degree in Divinities will even tell you that jesus is not real. That he never existed. The bible is full of stories meant to teach lessons and should not be taken litterally. He says all these fundie's are fools and are only managing to chase people away from the religion with their stupidity.

No one can find a set answer to that question... there is no yes or no just as there is not simply black and white... there is grey area with everything. In my personal opinion Jesus is real and he did die for our sins, but that is not to say that believing is for everyone. As your grandma doesnt believe and your friends dont believe this isnt to say jesus is for them. Don't worry you have a long time to decide if Jesus is your savior.. I would say go with what you think- dont listen to anyone else.. if you believe in Jesus he is real, and if you don't he isnt going to exist inside of you.

For those that say he is real, try again. Roman records say nothing about an individual being crucified by the name of Jesus. The name Jesus is like saying Bob instead of Robert. His real name was Yeshua, or Joshua (there are records of a prophet being crucified by that name), and Christ comes from the Greek word for king. Sorry, but maybe more people need to study history instead of a flawed book

We all have to find out on your own, but I believe I have seen his face once and he is very real to me. He is God and he is an older brother to all of us. He is with each of us every second at the same time and loves us so very much. You should ask him to show you how real he is and he will.

You can't know the details about things that happened so long ago. Everyone that was there to see it is dead now.

You could spend your entire life trying to find out the truth, or you could be thankful to whatever/whoever we came from without actually caring about the details.

We're all going to find out whether there's a god when we die, so why worry about it now? Be a good person, and you'll be rewarded whether or not there's a god.

Oh my goodness YES!!!!, Do not listen to to those who deny Jesus, seek Him in your prayers, with a true and humble heart, He will know if you are truly desiring to know Him, and He Will make Himself known to you by His Holy Spirit. :)
