Don't they know that Humanism affirms our ability and responsibility to lead ethical lives of personal fulfillment that aspire to the greater good of humanity, without theism and other supernatural beliefs?

Well I don't think I am a religionist though I believe in God

While I don't believe that we have a monopoly on ethical behavior, I do believe that "religionists" receive the demands of a Holy God for their morals and ethics.

Where do yours come from? As we see in today's society, these change as the world become more secularized. Without a standard of behavior, eventually things turn out like they did during the biblical times of the Judges. "Everyone did what was right in his own eyes." (Judges 21:25b)

I think it's because humans are tribalistic by nature. They think that their culture is better than everybody else's culture, that their ethnic group is better than everybody else's culture, that their football team is better than everybody else's football team.

Likewise, people tend to think that their own religion is the One Truth Faith and that it's simply impossible to be a decent or moral person if you believe in something else...

They believe they have a monopoly on ethical behavior because...well... they do. Religion has a hold on every act and behavior in this country. It's disappointing, but true.

Theists don't tend to think for themselves. They get all their morals from their holy text. Therefore, they believe that if others don't read/believe their holy text, the can't possibly have any morals.
