I love Johnson and he was a great champion to win under the NEW point system..... much better than Bowyer. But I still liked the old system as NASCAR did not need a playoff format as each race was exciting and the it was worth watching every NASCAR race just to see who who each race. Even though Dale Jr was out of the chase it still would have been awesome for his fans to see him win even the last race at Homestead. Fans get excited for their driver regardless where he is in points for the championship.
I still think Gordon got screwed by the system a second time! LOL But NASCAR is still the greatest sport in the world!
