Okay this is not about just one dream but many dreams. All the dreams however have the same theme.

I am in danger and I am being chased. I try to hide and save myself (obv). Also in EACH dream there are people who try to save me, even if it means risking their lives. I never get hurt in any dream. Also in all dreams I escape at the end and finish the "villian" of the dream.

However in real life I am extremely helpful and loyal, however in the dreams, I do not remain loyal to the people who try to save me. Whenever I find the oppurtunity to run, I forget all about them and run for my own life.

I will give you some examples ..

Once, I was in an abondoned tower with its top blown of. And there were crows and vultures all around the tower, trying to pick out my eyes. I was desperately trying to hide. Then there was this boy (who told me he has a crush on me) who asks me to go and hide in a room. He lookes the door and stands infront of it so no one can enter.

Then somehow he drives the vultures away. I don't ask him to come inside with me though.

I was being hunted by barbarians. I am trying to hide. Firstly a monkey helps me, then a turtle helps me escape. However the barbarians find me. Then out of nowhere a lion jumps out and stands infront of me and kills them.

Another dream, I was being chased by hundreds of snakes. But then my mom, my aunt and my sister kills all of them and so the snakes can't harm me catch me.

I hardly have dreams where everything is happy althorugh. However, in all dreams I have never harmed, always protected and always make an escape.

The things about dreams is: What it means is only important in relation to what it means to YOU.

If you recall, in Analyze This, the ganster had a dream about giving a baby bottle to his son, where the milk turned black. The meaning was meant to be obvious - he was poisoning his son with the life he led, passing down the dangers.

But black liquid to someone ELSE might mean molasses - something sweet and wonderful.

You might try Freud's interpretation of dreams.

HOWEVER, the most common dreams that human beings have are:
Being chased
Falling
and Snakes.

The reason for that is: we evolved from monkeys, and that was what we most often faced that killed us.

My idea while reading this dream was that it was about sexual feelings that feel dangerous to some parts of your psyche. In the dreams, you are protected or saved from the sexual desires by various other parts of your psyche.

Here is what struck me:

-abandoned tower (phallic), then boy who likes you locking the door to protect you
-snakes (phallic), aunt and sisters protecting you.
-Same with vultures and barbarians - dangerous sexual feelings that could destroy you.

Basically I think the dream is about suppressing some sexual desires and not acting on them,. This conflict gets acted out in the dream. Sounds very normal.
