I'm 17 and I'm still waiting for my first boyfriend. I know its so difficult to sit around and watch everyone else be in a relationship while you aren't but that will calm down in a few months. If you are still in middle school people just date for no real reason at all. Once you get into high school it starts to calm down a bit because just dating someone because they are hot isn't quite as much fun.
Even then though, you may have to wait until you find a guy. It doesn't get any easier to wait but you start to realize that you really wouldn't want to date most of the guys in your grade. Until then just join activities to meet new people (and new guys in other grades) but don't come off as someone who has to have a guy or they will die. That's a deffinet turn off

Sweetie, please don't fret. I was 24 when I had my first boyfriend (I'm 29 now) and am not ashamed in the least. I had a few flings before that and dated someone for three weeks but I had nothing even close to a relationship until I met my ex. Then we moved in together exactly four weeks after we met and after 18 months of on - off hell and two years of being sex buddies I have finally shaken him off and have had no contact with the stupid great lump since April. So DO NOT go rushing into something you're not sure of or are not ready for just because you feel a bit of a freak.
I'm not trying to put you off hunni, I just don't want to see someone else make the mistakes I did, regardless of their age (or sex). It is not in your mind and you are not a freak - you are a normal human being who is a bit worried they're being left behind. Take your time and enjoy being young free and single and your time will come soon enough. Take care :)

Awh bless =]
Having a boyfriend isn't all it may sound, love. A guy asked me out when I was about 9 and I said yes and we never talked. I 'dumped him' and that was it. A repeat of it happened again when I was 10 with another guy, but I dumped him again because I had a huge crush on the year's hottie :P
The year after that, went out with a guy for 5 months. It took a while to break up with him, but I didn't like him and he was too clingy.
And in September I broke up with this guy. He's my best friend - fortunately we're still mates. Anyway, I didn't see him all over the summer [since I was abroad] and that might've stopped anything from happening, but still...
Anyway, thing is, I still haven't been kissed yet so don't you worry your pretty little head off =]. Rather it happen with the right guy somewhere romantic then behind the bicycle shed with a guy you'll probably never see after graduation, yeah?

i was 23, fancied guys when i was younger that didnt fancy me back. never got looked at when i was in high school (short, flat chested and skinny lol). had a period where i was confused about bein gay, realised i liked women and got a gf (only lasted 5 months). met my ex this year, who was amazing, treated me like i never thought i could be treated like. only lasted 2.5 months but i loved him more than anything in the entire universe.
i shouldn't worry about feeling a freak or left out. don't feel pressured into anythin u dont wanna do. there can be a lot of talk at ur age, those saying they've had sex por whatever to sound big and grown up but at the end of the day they are more probably likely to regret it later in life.
at the end of the day go with what feels right for you, what makes u happiest, doesn't matter what anyone else thinks
