my mom got me an ipod touch (16gb) and she said i have to open it when it's christmas. i SERIOUSLY DO NOT want to wait that long, knowing that there's an ipod touch in my house that's ready to go wherever and whatever i want it to do. any suggestions on convincing her to give it to me now??? she says she wants to see good grades and clean room..

hi everyone!! i'm sorry if i offended anyone in anyway, i was just so excited of getting an ipod, i didn't really stop and think, i know there are people who need food and clothes and money, and i should be grateful for what ihave/will have. please forgive me, i'm a nice guy, i've always had good grades(i went to guidance counselor; 9th grade; and he said i was #3 of 356 freshmen, which means i had the 3rd best grades out of 356 freshmen) (i swear to God), she just meant if they get low, then she'll explode, and about my room, it's kinda small, so it's kinda hard keepin evrything in order, plus my dad always wants me 2 go to his house like everyday, so i barely have time to be in my own room, again, i'm sorry. :.(..
by the way, my mom and i always collect our spare canned food and give it to our canned foo drive at school, so we do care about the people in need

I'd probably just be happy that she got a nice gift like that for you and wait. Give her the good grades, clean your room and do extra's for so she can see that you really deserve this gift.
Christmas isn't that far away...it goes by so fast and before you know it you'll have it.
I wouldn't try convincing her to give it to you earlier because she might get upset and think you don't even deserve it anymore. Show her you appreciate it, be good and wait. :)

She bought it for you as a christmas gift, its not xmas yet, so you cant have it! get over it and wait another month. whats so hard about that, i bet if she didnt tell you she bought it you wouldnt be begging her. you have to also ask yourself another question, do you really want it to use, or do you just want it to look cool and fit in with everyone else? and what the heck is so hard about keeping you room clean, and getting good grades, if you were my kid, i'd take it back to the store and buy you one once the room was clean for a month, and the grades went up.

give her good grades and a clean room then..think bout it, if you get it now, what is going to be your excitement when xmas comes? you're just going to have to see other ppl open their gr8 presents and you might just get nothing. parents have their reasons for doing these type of things. you gotta respect that. 4 all you know, if you get it know, something might happen to it (ie broken etc..) b4 xmas...by that time, no use crying over spilt eggnog.. ;o

Are you a little whiney spoiled brat. No wonder your mom doesn`t want to give it to you. She may take it back to the store and give you rocks and ashes instead.
I SERIOUSLY DO think you should clean your room and get good grades. Your mom got you what you want, give her what she wants.
