3 days refridgerated. The temperature must be under 40 degrees. If it is over 40 degrees you will have bacteria grown and toxins which will make you sick. If left unrefridgerated 4 hours technically before bacteria growth starts to get unhealthy.

Most of the bacon you buy has plenty of preservatives and will not be a risk for many hours. Real dry cured bacon on the other hand does not need refrigeration at all. Otherwise all of those pioneers in covered wagons would have been without.
an aside for everybody, if you get a chance try real bacon. Like Burger's from Missouri. You will never be happy with the other stuff again.

Up to 2 hours, then either cook it or get it cold again. After 3-4 hours just toss it out.

since its salted and smoked your fine it has two different preserving techniques .. you could leave it out for days and it would be fine.. bacon will not go bad on you unless its super hot out
