Well I have seen a lot of Christians use this verse and that jesus is begotton son of God.
Gospel Of Jhon Chapter 3 V 16
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Most Christians say that the Bible mentions that Jesus is the Son of God, but if you refer Bible also says that Adam is the son of God,David is son of God and many others are also mentioned as son of God. Bible has son of God by the Tons.Anyone who is led by the spirit of God is the Son of God, tht is what the Bible says. It means if you are a good person , following the rules and regulations of God then you are a son of God and we are all children of God.
But the Christians say that Jesus is not only a son of God but he is the “Begotten” son of God and they use the above verse John 3:16, But the word begotten is not there in the Revised Standard Version.
This is the verse from the King James Version Bible and it is also present in the Douay Version which the catholics believe. The catholics believe in 73 books, and the protestants they have thrown out 7 books from the old testament saying it is “APOCRYPHA”
The Word Apocrypha means
various religious writings of uncertain origin regarded by some as inspired, but rejected by most authorities.
writings, statements, etc., of doubtful authorship or authenticity
The bible ,the King james Version and the other Douay version go back to the source about 300- 500 yrs after the alleged crucifiction of Jesus Christ.
And according to the Revised Standard Version, the Revised Standard Version Goes back 200 years after the alleged crucifiction of Jesus Christ , which is more authentic as it is closer to the source.
And according to the Revised Standard Version which have revised by 32 christian scholars of the highest eminence backed by co-operating denominations , if you open the bible and look up John Chapter 3 v 16 the word “begotten” is not there because it is an interpolation or fabrication.
As you can see 32 scholars of the highest eminence backed by 50 co-operating denominations have thrown the word ”Begotten” out of the Bible even the Revised standard version of the Catholic Edition doesn’t have the Word Begotten in it.
There is no equivocal statement in the entire Bible where jesus says I am god or where he says Worship me.
I want to ask the Christians , most of the christians believe what the Church teaches them , and the church interprits what the bible says, and different ppl give different interpretation of the bible , but there is no verse in the whole bible where jesus says in clear open words that I am God or Worship me.
And one more thing is that a word tht is so relevent to the whole of Christianity and has been there in the bible for so many years , the scholars just remove it for reasons best known to them. So, what is the surity that the Bible is still in its pure form, and would you still believe it even after it has been altered.?

my gosh. i have never thought about that. it took me a while to read that, but it makes a point. i still believe it, all of it, but i know Jesus is Gods son, his begotton son, and that will never change. i have a pretty old bible, 20yrs old or so, and it is not as revised as yours. im now scared to believe something that isnt true because a scholar has changed it because they interpreted it differently. i belive God will punish everyone who changes the words in the Holy Bible. it says so in a type of version. in revelations, the last chapter, last verse, it says he will punish all that rewrite the words in this Book. i beleive that it is still the Word God gave us, even though is has been altered a bit. i believe they wil be punushed. may God save those who will not deny him . Jesus Christ will deny those in front of His father, God, if they have denied him.

First and foremost I would like to thank you for a good question--secondly I would like to point out that John 3:16 is NOT the only verse that refers to Jesus as begotten.
Here's your answer:
Hebrews 1:5, "For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?"
This shows that not only is Jesus NOT an angel but also he is and was and will always be the ONLY begotten Son of the Father.
How do we know the Bible is accurate?
Because there are many verses that back each other up--no matter what the translation. In the Apocrypha--there were books of the Bible that didn't 'gel' with the rest of the books.
Best, quick answer I can give you.

Jesus in John 10:30, unequivocally states that he is God when he states:
I and my father are one.
Also in John 14:15-18. Jesus describes the Holy Spirit, and even goes as far as (in verse 18) saying:
I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
This showing that he is also the Holy Spirit.
I wouldn't worry about the purity of the Bible, no one has ever had the power to change it, nor would anyone want to, except those who do not believe, as I believe you do.
Saying that the Gospels were written hundreds of years after Christ's death, is asinine. The Gospels were all written in the lifetime of the apostles, which means that ALL were written before, and probably much sooner, that about 75 AD. This being shown by the active church during that time, and the thousands of manuscripts that still exist.
Paul and Peter were both martyred in the Neronian persecutions in about 54-56 AD.
If you do not believe this, the trump card is that Jesus was crucified for the crime of Blasphemy, or claiming that he was God. No one familiar at all with the Gospels can argue this one. While there may be some sects who deny the divinity of Christ, I know of no mainstream churches who do this, in any way, shape, or form.

That's why the KJV is considered the closest translation coming down through the line of the Received Text. The further the translation got from what was considered the original text, the more the deity was stripped from Jesus Christ. Especially when it comes to the RSV and NIV translations. Be careful when using these current day versions. Jesus, being God, is stripped away as much as possible. The KJV will never be replaced because of this. I myself still read the NIV on occasion but am very careful and I always compare it to the KJV.
If Jesus Christ is only a man, then we might as well throw the faith out the door. The whole point of salvation is in Jesus and his perfection. If he was man through and through, he would fall under the curse that man has been under from the day Adam sinned.
Acts: 20:28 Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which ** He ** purchased with ** His ** own blood.

Interpretation is where we get so many different doctrines. The bible combined with other sources such as Josephus, the Gnostic gospels and so forth should give a much clearer picture. A whole portrait is what we want here. It's much like a detective gathering evidence in solving a crime. A profile is sure to emerge. That is the closest thing to the truth. It isn't found to be to peoples liking, but, at least it's the truth. There are many other sources that cite the story of the man known to us as Jesus and he is hidden under many other names as well. There is a family bloodline tree that lists him as an ancestor. Him, his wife and children. The truth has been obscured, possibly on purpose, due to the fact that evidence is so shaky.

Ahhh, such lengthy details. I need a nap. The answer is no Christians do not have more than one God. The belief is in the Holy Trinity Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. If you think of an egg there are three parts such as the center is the yolk, the father; Jesus is the whites, and on the shell the Holy Spirit. "Jesus said, "No one can cometh to the Father but through me," I am the truth, the way, and life". If I'm correct, Jesus referred to the Father before the resurrection because after the resurrection he was taken up to sit at the right hand of God. .

NO. I only believe in the KJV. People have tried to altar the Bible and change the words to try to make it "easier" to read, but really they take out the important things and then it make s no sense. So when the important things are taken out, then it is harder for people to believe the Truth. thats why people are always asking questions about the Bible, cuz theyre confused from everything out there. The Devil will do anything to keep ppl in hell .
Trust what the Bible says about Christ as your only Saviour and then youll start to have ALL your questions answered :)
Stick to the KJV
back then they didnt even write in their OWN grammar, they TRANSLATED it in the exact words of the Hebrew

In the end, Jesus is still God's Son
Why did Muhammad take so much from the Bible, but omit things to suit himself?
He did omit the stance Jesus is to have and put him in a stance of just a great prophet, but why
For if Allah begot a Son I would be the first to worship him, this is what the Qur'an states, so my question is, if God is correct in all things, then why the Qur'an to straighten out what God got wrong?

well i think your question is is Jesus is the one and only son of God, why is King David and other called this..??
good question....... well in translation there are difficulties, as in all translations, however if you read closely you will see when refering to anyone but Jesus as son of God the "s" is not capitalllized, but when refering to Jesus the "S" is capitalized. i am not a very good Christian apologist but i do know that even The Roman emperor Augustus was called "divi filius" (son of the deified Julius Caesar) when infact genetic relation is vague....so in Short, and i am very sorry i dont know all the dtails of the hbrew, greek and aremaic languages.....but there is a HUGE difference in .."sons of God" and "Son of God" its all in the S you could say.... i would have to be a linguist to explain in great detail... sorry.

It's easy to misinterpret an article written yesterday in my language of choice. It's understandable why many have difficulty properly interpreting the thoughts of those who wrote the Bible.
Fortunately there are additional resources for helping us interpret the Bible correctly. The Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ that helps a great deal in understanding the doctrines found in the Bible. There are also prophets once again upon the earth. Of primary importance is the promise found in the Bible itself that God will reveal the truth to us.
James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
To answer your question, Jesus Christ is the only son of God after the manner of the flesh. In other words, Mary is his mother and Heavenly Father (the one Jesus always prayed to) is the father of his physical body.
We are spirit children of our Heavenly Father in 2 senses. He is the father of our spirit bodies. We all possess a physical and a spiritual body that are separated at death and are rejoined at the resurrection. There is also the sense that when we are spiritually born again, we are spiritually begotten or born and become the sons and daughters of God.
