okay just curious... what do guys do with their ex girlfriend's love letters/notes?? like do yall throw them away? what feelings do yall have?

I am a woman answering this because my hubby has letters from his last girlfriend, he has tried to throw them away a few times, but I always talk him out of it, and try to keep them safe, because it is a part of his past and I think they are important, even if he doesn't

Hahaha....well I like keeping letters from ex girlfriends that meant something to me and I'm still friends with now. It brings back good and bad memories. Regardless, Its a piece of history that you and your ex shared together, and i want to remember that, no matter how hard it was. On the other hand, there were a few letters from other ex's that no longer exist because I had burned them or destroyed them in a violent manner. Some times it just doesn't end pretty.

Being the thrifty type o' guy, I always kept mine to pick me up on a bad day AND if I needed a good laugh, I'd just read some of them. Any decent guy would still keep them private until such time that they were no longer a benefit or had worn themselves out. (Like a new girlfriend).

I know im not a guy but I know what to do. Keep them in a box (a small box) and hide them in a place no one would ever think to look, then if you ever get back together with your ex you can still have the letters. :)

It depends on the situation. Sometimes we destroy the notes or throw them away. Other times we keep them. This all depends on who broke up with whom, why, and how it makes us feel.

my ex wifes stuff went to the can, and i burned all of it!!!
here is the thing i dont ever talk or go around any of my ex, why i have no reason to ever see them again
i dont want to know if they are doing good or bad, i have a new girl to spend my time with

I feel you should probably throw this stuff away as you'll continue to have an emotional attachment otherwise. I guess if you've really truly move on though it wouldn't matter.

either give them back to them and say you dont want anymore memories at all. or rip them up and throw them away. it depends on how you still feel about your ex. just do whatever you feel comfortable with doing....

depends on the guy if he's sentimental/ romantic he might keep them stashed somewhere and read them on a rainy day. Or else probably doesnt even keep the notes.
