STONED TO DEATH...that is the part I am looking for. Where does it say that in the Bible?

The Old Testament says that disobedient children should be STONED to death not beaten to death.

I suppose that is one of the OT laws that "doesn't count" since Jesus was crucified.

Per your request: Here are the chapters that say disobedient children are to be put to death. (listed under "sources:")

I don't think these verses need much interpretation, but I am sure those who believe in the bible will find a way to interpret these to mean something else, to justify them, or to say that since they are OT, that they either "don't count" any more, because Jesus died on the cross, or that they only apply to a certain group of people at a certain time.

Don't be surprised if the people who will explain these away, originally stated that there are no such verses in the bible to begin with.

The Bible says "spare the rod and spoil the child". I don't believe that this should be taken literally, and that you should beat your children with a stick when they misbehave. I think this means that you need to discipline children so that they grow to be enlightened adults, rather than social pariahs.
I believe that sometimes corporal punishment is in order, but that many so-called Christians use this verse and abuse children. I've seen it done, and I've seen it done IN church. When I expressed my concern to the Pastor, nothing was done, though I was told the mother would be asked to come in for counseling so the matter could be addressed. I called Social Services a week later, when I was to babysit and the kids had bruises.
Not all Christians feel this way however. Some understand that there are non-violent ways to discipline children and raise them up in the way they should go - I think they should go nonviolently into the adult world!

You've already been given many scriptures that tell you to discipline children.
Spare the rod and spoil the child is a statement that has been proven right here in the USA. Look at the state of our schools, where students are out of control, with no respect for authority. We need to get back to disciplining children, and we need to accept responsibility for our own actions while expecting others to do the same.

As you can see based on all of the answers that have been given here, some are not of Christian persuasion. Just to add a Christian woman seek after the things of God. The word says seek ye first the Kingdom of God and all His righteousness and everything will be added unto you...My answer is to be contented in seeking God. The word also states in Philippians 4:6 do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. Again seek God.

The Bible does not say that children should be either beaten or stoned to death.
It does suggest stoning for a son who is stubborn, rebellious. a glutton and a drunkard which hardly describes a child.
Sounds like he is often stoned out of his mind.

He who spareth the rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him correcteth him betimes" (Proverbs 13:24) and "Withhold not correction from a child: for if thou strike him with the rod, he shall not die." (Proverbs 23:13)
It doesnt mean beat your kids to death lol it's just saying that if you love your child, you have to show them whats right and wrong and discipline them, not let them get away with everything.

He who spares the rod hates his son, but he who loves him is careful to discipline him. Proverbs 13:24
You shouldn't abuse the child, but if he misbehaves, you have to discipline him(or her) so that they know it's wrong. Also, if you never punish a child, they get extremely spoiled, and used to getting their own way.

You do NOT beat your children to death, children are a gift from God. Yet it is clear that you do spank them...

Prov 13:24: "He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes (diligently)."
Prov 19:18: "Chasten thy son while there is hope, and let not thy soul spare for his crying."
Prov 22:15: "Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him."
Prov 23:13: "Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die."
Prov 23:14: "Thou shalt beat him with the rod, and shalt deliver his soul from hell (Shoel)."
Prov 29:15: "The rod and reproof give wisdom: but a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame."

This teaches them right from wrong.
