It normally happens after a meal. All my fingertips. During worse times, they actually feel like they're going to literally blow up. I've heard too much salt intake in my meals can cause this, but am not sure. I have a family history of diabetes and high blood pressure.

Blood sugar issues and low B-vitamins can cause parethesia. So can peripheral vascular/circulation issues. Carpal tunnel can too, but it wouldn't be after a meal specifically. I would check your blood pressure and your blood sugar. Lay off the carbs, increase the B-vitamins (specifically B6) and get a check up.

Good luck. Good question.

too much salt in your diet is unhealthy even if you don't have high blood pressure or diabetes, numbness and tingling are definitely not normal, could be signs of diabetes....consult your physician soon for an evaluation

It sounds like Raynauds. This can be a sign of something more serious, like an autoimmune problem. Get it checked.
