only to dismiss it due to your godless beliefs?

Have any religious people had one and put it down to science?

Yes, by some usages of the term "supernatural".
But I didn't dismiss them due to my theological stance.

I tend to think the term "supernatural " is a false category, but that "nature" (including what the human mind is capable of ) is rather bigger than some people allow for.

I see a UFO. The perception is real. That *is*.
What is happening is subject to interpretation:
Alien space ship, mis-read aerial phenomenon, electromagnetically induced hallucination...

The event is not dismissed. That it *exclusively* fits one world view just because it is consistent with it is a logical error.

I have never seen anything that has made me think of the supernatural.
I am always open minded and I don't totally dismiss the claims of people that say they have seen ghosts and angels and stuff. But all of the so-called "evidence" of the supernatural I have seen is either fake or can easily be explained by other means.
Until the day comes that I see evidence of the supernatural with my own eyes, I will remain sceptical.

I've had experiences that some would dismiss as supernatural, but in reality, if they used their brains and thought a little, turned out to have a perfectly reasonable explanation.

I am being 100% honest, when I say that I have never felt or had what could be classified as a supernatural experience. This is part of the reason that I am an atheist.

A bunch of them. But I don't dismiss them. There's only so many times you can have a precognitive fit and deny it. I don't believe in some creative force, or an old man with a beard obsessed with sin. I think that this stuff is inexplicable as now, and I will wait til I die to see if there is some kind of continuation of awareness.

I have had many. I've even been called psychic. They had nothing to do with god. These experiences even helped me to realize that the lord and all the others were false. The capabilities of the Human Mind are still more mystery than fact. They will someday be "discovered" by science and denied by religion.

I once had an imaginary friend, but I dismissed it 'due to my godless beliefs' when I was about 5.
His name was Hairpin-Ben and we went on magical journeys together.

I have had several experiences that were identical to ones other people have had. They considered them supernatural acts and i considered them a process of the Jungian collective consciousness. My dog exibits telepathic behavior. To the fundies that would be supernatural. To me it is the normal state of afairs within the earth community.

Nope.

I've had experiences that I didn't understand what was happening, but I never considered them to be something that COULD be supernatural. I considered them completely natural, just unexplained. I didn't feel the need to call them supernatural just because I didn't understand what was happening.

I believe everything has an explanation.
And even if i had a supernatural experience i wouldn`t be thinking " ohh is that a sign from god ".
