What should I do? What kind of documents do I need?
Do I have to marry in USA or I can do it in my country, too?
By the way, for citizens of my country visa (for entering in USA) is required.

Marrying an American does not automatically give you a green card. You will still have to fill out the paperwork and do it legally (and yes, it is expensive!). Does not matter which country you marry in.
My stepson is going through this...she still does not have papers yet and they have been married for 4 years.

Only U.S. citizens are guaranteed admission to the U.S. whenever they want.

No. Marriage is not going to allow you to enter whenever you want. Only the presentation of the proper travel documents allows you to enter.

You can get married in any country you want, but in order to enter the U.S., you must have a visa that matches the reason for your trip.

If you are already in the U.S., and you get married, and you want to live here permanently, you will need to attempt to become a lawful permanent resident.

Marriage all by itself will not allow you to come and go as you please.

The spouse can not enter as a visitor, they actually can, but no one is going to believe that they are not planning to live here. You need to file the petition and get the immigrant visa before they come over.

While i have to agree that its wrong to marry just to get in, its really not that uncommon. besides judging your morality issues, ill answer your question. To be able to come to the u.s. whenever you want you either have to apply for a visa, and go through the interview process in your country, or yes be married to a u.s. citizen. Just being married to a u.s. citizen doesnt grant you entry into the country. you have to apply for temporary citizenship for unlimited access, or apply for a marriage visa. Either way your going to have to apply for permision, so it would be easier for you to just apply for a travel visa from the us consulate in whatever country you live in.

If you're a tourist, only a plane ticket and a passport is needed. If you're looking for someway to circumvent the procedure to come here as a legal resident, it won't work.

I think you should marry for love, just not to get into this country. If you want to get in this country, you should get a passport. If you don't have one, then you can get one, you just need bills to show that you live where you live. and possibly a birth certificate to show that you really are who you are. Love should be something that you want, unless of course, you already love someone in america.

Hope this Helps!

Your request goes into the queue along with everyone else. Marriage has no effect on the process. If you want to move to the US, apply and show why we would want you.
