30 degrees up here in Wa. state in my town. Burrrrr, time to make a fire.

well your right around the corner from me then. It's in the 20's on Smith island this morning, just north of Everett, on old hwy 99 before Marysville on the water. The ice is 1/8 of a inch on the glass. But the air is fresh and clean!
Oh my fire place is gas, I got rid of the wood. I sleep about 15 feet from it and it can warm the whole house and best of all, it is on a thermostat so I don't have to get up in the morning and do the wood anymore, but the dogs still want to go out! LOL

It's 39 here in N. Louisiana, that's cold to me. I lived in Wa. state when I was 4. I still remember how cold it was there with all that snow. We don't get snow very often. It was new to us and we were not prepared for the weather there. No gloves, outside in snow too long. When we came in we went straight to the heater. My little 4yr old fingers hurt so bad, I thought they were going to fall off. Cured me, I think we must have stayed in the rest of the winter, don't remember.

It is finally getting winter like. just two days ago it was 80 something today it is about 40 and rainy. East Texas here.

.i live in the st.cloud, minnesota area,, it is 8:am, 25 degrees, with a nice dusting of snow from last night. time to bring out the winter underwear!!!!!!!!!
