As far as I know the Watchtower teaches that only 144000 will go to heaven while the rest of the faithful will live apart from Christ on earth. Thus in Watchtower there is a "little flock" of 144000 who get to go to heaven and a "great crowd" of others who are relegated on earth. The heavenly class are born again, receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and partake of communion, the earthly class do not.
That's why they teach about the new earth and what life will be like here. My JW friend told me once that she wouldn't be among the heavenly crowd, because she was chosen for a life in peace here on earth.
I'm glad that I believe in God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit and God's Word. All He asked for me to go to heaven is to accept Jesus Christ as my savior. The bible says that we are not saved by works.

It is what the Bible says, not the Watchtower or any other publication that matters. It is not just Jewish males as the names of the 12 tribes in Revelations are different from the original 12 tribes and by the time of the writing, ALL nations and tribes of the earth had the opportunity to join in.
Why not read a little further down the chapter where it says a great crowd which "no man was able to number". These will be people with an earthly hope of living forever on a paradise earth. Why does your clergy never mention these people?
Lack of knowledge? Or more likely, so much of what they hold dear would have to be given up? They like their position of power, money, standing in this old wicked world.
There is no way to "convert" anyone short of like Catholicism or Protestants who simply said with a sword or axes to other people's throat said, "Convert or die!" What we do is show people a more sensible, logical way to really understand the Bible. We teach people to do it themselves and not to depend on some clergy for understanding.

For TRUTH SEEKER - We have no way of knowing who is to survive Armageddon or not. The only prerequisite the Bible set on that is that they have to have a good heart and be willing to be taught and accept what the Bible teaches. If Jehovah God, through his Son, Jesus sees that in an an individual who is not one of Jehovah's Witnesses, then they will survive. If Jehovah God sees that in many individuals who are not Jehovah's Witnesses, they will survive. Jehovah's Witnesses have never said they have the final say so as to who survives and who doesn't. We are not the judge. Jesus Christ is. And he will do a fine job. And any who will survive will be welcomed as worthy of life. All survivors will learn how their deliverance came, through God's Son, Jesus, and will be so grateful to abide by what the Bible teaches. It means their everlasting life. And they will be forever grateful. Questioner - It is not a matter of heaven being full. If Adam and Eve had never sinned, there would never be ANY human who would have stepped foot into heaven. Due to the disobedience of man, God has made an allowance for a small number of select humans to take part in a new government of God's making, called God's kingdom, which will help bring the earth back to the paradise and perfection which it so rightly deserves. Jesus , and this small group of selected humans, will be the ones used by God to see his purpose fulfilled toward the earth and its inhabitants. Adam, while on earth, before his sin, had communication with God. What a privilege he had. And he gave that up when he chose disobedience. So for those who will be selected to live on earth forever, they have this opportunity to become God's children again, right here on earth. And have a wonderful relationship with their heavenly Father, that even surpasses what they can have today as sinful humans. This is what is brought out in Romans 8:21 which states they will be set free from the "enslavement to corruption and have the glorious freedom of the children of God." That does not sound like a life with "no hope".

Jehovah's Witness do not try to "convert" people. They just try to make people aware of their spiritual needs and how important is their relationship with Jehovah God.
There main belief about death is that only those 144,000 go to heaven as chosen by Jesus.
The others who died as faithful true Christians will stay asleep in their graves until the day God deems appropriate and starts what is called a resurrection.
John 5:28, 29
"(28) Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice (29) and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment. "
After this Resurrection they will live in an earth made into a worldwide Paradise.
Ruled by God, Jesus, and the 144,000 servants of Jesus.
That is what Jehovah's Witnesses believe.
Just to clear the air.

In stead of picking on JW's why don't you find out more about the 144 thousand..
If you read that part of the bible.. The 144 thousand are the blessed ones that are going to live in heaven with Jesus and God... The rest of everyone else will be living on a re-made earth... A sort of heaven on hearth...

(Revelation 20:4) And I saw thrones, and there were those who sat down on them, and power of judging was given them. Yes, I saw the souls of those executed with the ax for the witness they bore to Jesus and for speaking about God, and those who had worshiped neither the wild beast nor its image and who had not received the mark upon their forehead and upon their hand. And they came to life and ruled as kings with the Christ for a thousand years.
These are the 144,000 .In heaven they have a job to do.. Assisting Jesus in the judgement.
(John 5:22) For the Father judges no one at all, but he has committed all the judging to the Son,
(Revelation 7:9) After these things I saw, and, look! a great crowd, which no man was able to number, out of all nations and tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, dressed in white robes; and there were palm branches in their hands.
This is the remainder. they have an earthly future.
(Psalm 37:9) For evildoers themselves will be cut off, But those hoping in Jehovah are the ones that will possess the earth.
(Psalm 37:11) But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth, And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.
(Psalm 37:29) The righteous themselves will possess the earth, And they will reside forever upon it.
(Psalm 37:34) Hope in Jehovah and keep his way, And he will exalt you to take possession of the earth. When the wicked ones are cut off, you will see [it].

Old question. If you really want to know, why not ask one of us.
Simplified answer, it is up to Jehovah who goes to heaven, certainly knocking on more doors than someone else doesn't garner a "better spot".
Jehovah's original intent described in the Bible was for man to live on the Earth forever, as perfect humans. Why would his main goal be changed because of 2 sinful humans???

Once my wife and I were looking to buy a house.
We came across an open house and decided to stop in. As we went out to the spacious backyard we heard this curious "pop pop" sound, quiet but distinct. We discovered a koi pond with several dozen koi fish which looked like they hadn't been fed in days.
As soon as they saw us, all of their little mouths started popping up at the surface of the water, hungrily desiring some of the food from the canister beside their pond. We fed them and they resumed their normal lives.
Maybe this is how the JW afterlife will be decided, whomever gobbles up enough food WINS!
