Hi there,
Yes I do believe that God does place people in our lives to either:-
1. Give them Hope;
2. A Word of encouragement;
3. A Word of direction;
4. Conformation that He loves you;
5. That He has engraved you on the palm of His hand;
6. That He will never leave nor forsake you;
7. To lead you to HIM
8. To teach those who have already asked Him into their hearts;
9. To tell you that provision is on its way
Look at the flowers and the birds they do not toil but yet I look after them and feed them how much more will I feed and look after you man of little faith.
I am here as His representative His ambassodor and He has instructed me to tell you the abovementioned.
When He died on the cross He said IT IS FINISHED.
He (Jesus) came with a purpose and He finished the race.
You are twice His, He created you and bought you back with His Life.
Trust God, follow God and make Jesus Christ your saviouir today!!!
Take Care

God puts people in our lives for a reason?
Yes God put Moses, Jesus (peace upon them all) for reason of guiding Jews the right way of life and to forbid what is wrong way of life. Jews who tried kill him will get their punishment.
Prophets were there to guide them the right way. Instead some people started worshipping some Prophets as gods after they died. That will not be an acceptable excuse that God sent them there to guide them..
God will punish those who worship other than God the creator and sustainers of all because He has warned through his Prophets that worshipping any one other than Him will be sin and punishable offense.

maintaining an emotional balance and detachment, does not mean not having consequences.
everything happens for a reason, but the consequences for the things that we see as undesirable circumstances, can be as important as the event.
if a child does something wrong, punishment is needed for them to learn from that wrongdoing. the lesson learned from the consequences of that wrongdoing can be important.
so, to your question of "what would that do to our judicial system?" I see no reason it would change anything. or if anything, it would improve things for justice to be given from a state of Emotional Equanimity, as it would be more prone to being just, rather than reactive and exaggerated based on immediate emotion.

i comprehend it hurts whilst human beings take benefit, extremely family contributors. on a similar time as God usually does placed human beings in our lives for a reason, you need to additionally earnings to preserve your self and furnish your self with protection from people who could use you. I found out this the complicated way, in basic terms as you have. If all somebody does is ask you for money or presents, or maybe accepts those issues from you, there is greater effective than possibly a difficulty. If somebody somewhat loves you, they desire to do issues for you, not take from you. God replaced into not the single that placed this individual on your existence; they for sure belong to his opposite. all of us have unfastened will, and could use it with discernment and not enable ourselves for use. You found out a painful lesson, and that i will wish for you. the splendid individual is on the marketplace; do not enable harm and anger separate you from God or different individuals. To be completely uncomplicated, i could additionally take any legal action that replaced into achievable in comparison individual to get well a number of your cash, and additionally take out restraining orders against them and their family contributors in case you are able to take care of it. i could somewhat confer with an legal expert! Being a Christian does not advise letting somebody walk throughout you or mistreat you. God Bless you.

If, just for a few moments, you could accept the fact that all gods are fantasies and not real, doesn't everything then begin to make sense?

i think you may have misunderstood a little, God never put these people in these places or situations they did that .God has given us all free will, we are either with God or we are not, if we are not its our choice and we have to face the consequences.What wrongs people do is not our business, God will deal with it, we need to look after ourselves and our families and continue our walk with God where we will learn to deal with whatever comes our way.No its not an easy walk but again we have the choice.

God didn't necessarily put him there since people have free will.
Either way, though, God can use bad things in life for good. Have you seen "Simon Birch"?
