i have a 555 IC and some LED what can i do with them and how

You can make them blink. A 555 is a timer IC so you can use a control resistor and a 9 volt battery to make a couple LEDs blink. This would be cool for like a reindeer christmas project. I really can't give you step by step directions as I do not remember what the schema pinout is for that IC but I can give you a link that could help you.

Since 555ic are dirt cheap go to electronic shop and buy another then it may a list of applications for that IC , I am nearly sure that it is a timer ic or a counter !! ( I could be wrong ) could be an op amp ! perhaps some one will correct me !
