no no no Miss Marj, if the bible is right then magic is real and so are many other impossible things --- an invisible man in the sky? come on, what's that crap? Science has proven that our faces once resembled the ape. There are skulls proving this many times over. If you look at the face of an ape, you will notice it is longer. Now go further back in time and extend the nose -- now you have a dog looking creature or at least a four legged creature. (the reason dogs are used for animal research with human products is because their systems completely resemble ours) That is why we have arms... because they were once legs. And everybody knows we once had tales. The tale was once our spine and our legs were as one, sort of like a seal ------ keep going back and you have a fish. AND............ so forth.

sorry asker, I kind of went off there ----- knw what u mean -- I don't actually have an answer since I'm a realist. Believing doesn't make something real and faith is completely blind. That's about all I have to say about that. Run Forrest Run.

Love is real.

How come some people don't believe in it and others do? We see the effects of love all the time, and yet some people don't believe in Love, and others have a little amount of faith that love exists.

How come I have faith that my car will start in the mornings? Reality tells me it will, but is there not that little amount of faith that will?

How are we sure anything is real? Do you have fath that reality is not just an illusion created by your brain in a deep sleep and none of this is real? Tell, me what makes something or someone real?

Can I see the wind? No, but since I can feel it I know it's there. But at the same time have faith that the wind is there, as do people with black matter in space. Some have faith that it exists but have no real "evidence" but at the same time claim it's real.

Can you see the point I'm getting at? There is faith required in most things. I have faith in my partner that she will not cheat, and I have faith in the fact that she loves me. Even though I see it daily. I'm not sure if this made much sense, and I do apologize. Sometimes my thoughts, and words never agree... lol just ask my girlfriend.

God Bless.

I think you have to believe since it has been proved logically as well. Nothing can exist by itself. The sky, the stars, and all the universe can not come by as it is? Can any one say someone created it. It is the God Almighty who created all that. A 1000 or 2000 years ago, do you think any one could have predicted the things as in bible or quran. It is through the true prophets of God Almighty, people got the information at that time and some could not perceive it logically, but some did. A common man from a tribe after getting the revealtions tells us the stories of the previous nations when he did not exist. And no one could challenge him. And He said this is not his personal knowledge, but bestowed by the almighty.
Even now after so much developments, refering to the creation of the universe, we can just say it might have happened this way or that way, but can not say who did this. God is the true controller of whatever happening in the universe, man has been awarded some powers for his needs to live in the universe. So man should be thankful and have belief in God. God is an invisible Power. God is independent of time and place. He is only one. Man is very weak. He can not claim until now that he would be able to live as much as he can in this world. After a life of 70~80 years, he is too weak and into diseases: no more willing to live.

In an effort to quell the uprising that was occurring "in the day" with the servants, those who had power "invented" a way to keep the servants serving. If they would not serve those in power they could serve God and as messengers of God, those in power will remain being served by the servants. The "fruit of knowledge" was in fact the knowledge that servants were many, however those in power were few. The servants could have taken control and some figured this out (Adam & Eve). A way to keep them in line and make them WANT to continue to be servants was invented. Faith in God. Servants will continue to serve or suffer the wrath of God!

No proof. Just my opinion based on my conclusions of the "evidence".

a million. i do no longer understand if it diminishes the fee of religion or no longer. in my opinion, i think of faith has little fee via itself. 2. All ideals, to an volume, contain faith. case in point, guy or woman who makes use of excellent judgment to be sure actuality has faith interior the unprovable axioms of the logical gadget they use. If the only requirement of a faith became right into a concept based on faith, issues like good judgment and geometry might desire to be seen religions. the factor of the unique declare (atheists have faith) is defective. that is an attempt to assert that atheists base their theory that God would not exist basically on faith, using fact their declare is "unprovable." generally, they don't comprehend the assumption of incremental affirmation. If each examined piece of evidence incrementally confirms the theory that God would not exist, and none of them incrementally be certain the theory that God does exist, then that's justified (however unprovable) to assert that God would not exist. that's resembling switching on a mild. every time I turn the swap, the sunshine activates. i'm justified from this in believing that the subsequent time I turn the swap the sunshine will swap on back, even however i will no longer be able to "tutor" it devoid of flipping the swap.

You would not believe that there is butter/cheese inside the milk until you process milk and get butter or cheese. So we have to under stand that milk is the cause of cheese. Like that God is understood by cause and action only. If Sun is the cause of Seasons in the world, who has made the Sun? You can have eyes and ears to see and hear, but who makes the cause for your sight and audition. ether is the cause for wireless equipments to work. who made ether? No one can hold the breath for longer time and still be alive? who makes all the parts of your body system to work during the time you sleep or when you are asleep. This job is undertaken by some force which is perceived as god. God is eternal and manifested in relative things in this changing world. He takes care also of those who has no faith and belief in him. Neither he favors who have faith and belief in him. No one knows how long he can live and what riches he could have, when and where? who has created all the inanimate things in this world and who take care for their existence?

To have faith and belief in him is left to one's choice and every one has enough knowledge to perceive or understand and know the cause of his existence. He is above all the worldly placed materials and he remains as the One who is just looking at what is just happening in this world. He cannot be related to the words like 'real' or 'unreal' and 'exist or non-exist. At critical times even Doctors who has thorough knowledge and understanding of our body and system when treating the human sometime leave the rest to the' GOD'. If that 'rest' could be understood. that is God. We believe and have faith in certain things which are accessible to our senses and call it as real. In practical happening what are all we say real in this world are just subject to decay in course of time. That is why religious philosophers say that this whole world is unreal and is going to decay one day and get recreated thereafter. The process of creation and destruction is undertaken perennially by some force and that should be understood as God. Without belief and faith in things no one could have invented so many things in this world and that only helped to invent many scientific products in this world. So belief and faith is the root cause of everything. One such thing is the 'GOD'.

That is the best question I have ever heard about faith in God.

I'm afraid I am not a Christian who has all the answers as some do, but maybe it is because God wants us to interact with Him.

For all we know maybe he gets lonely sometimes.

Imagine how awful it would be if children never spoke with there parents, which sadly for whatever reason happens sometimes.

I think it has to do with the fact that you cannot physically see him. I guess, in the literal sense.
It does seem that with both belief and faith, you can experience God.

That's a really good question by the way.

Maybe it's just beyond scientific understanding. Perhaps that's the only way to experience God, is to have belief or faith.

For Lauren M. That's "reign" not "rain". And, no one will be reigning in hell. We are spiritual beings dressed in this "earth suit" so that we can motivate in this earthly environment. Once we are finished with these earth suits our spirits will be freed to exist in eternity. Heaven is an eternity in the presence of the one who made us - communing with the creator (remember "Vee-ger" on Star Trek?) - fulfiling our strongest desire. Hell is a place separated from our creator - never being able to fulfill our purpose. It is an eternity in darkness and the worst punishment is that "it didn't have to be this way - I chose to be here." An eternity of sorrow and regret with NO HOPE of absolution. Hopelessness - something no one has here on earth - is the greatest torture in hell. No one is "in charge". No devils with pitchforks prodding sinners. No "reigning" in hell. Just an eternity of sorrow and grief. Choose God and stay out of hell. As Dante said - "Abandon Hope all ye who enter here."
