Which of the Tony Hawkes skateboard games is the best. Thinking of buying it for my 8 year old son (if that makes any difference)

If you have a PS2 then i would suggest:
Tony Hawks American Wasteland
Or if you have a PS3 i would say the best game was
Tony Hawks Proving Ground [the new one]
but Skate from EA
