Here's my picks:
1. Dave Blaney (#22 Caterpillar Toyota) - In the later part of the season, Blaney's #22 was the only Toyota consistently running in the top 20 spot. He would run solid throughout the race and his team had consistent pit stops. Series leaders Johnson and Gordon often found themselves drafting off Blaney when caught in traffic. Blaney finishes the season in 31st not only saving Bill Davis Racing in the top 35 race, but the top running Toyota of all.

2. Clint Boyer (#07 Jack Daniels Chevy) - While veteran RCR Driver, Kevin Harvick barely wins the Daytona 500 nudging Mark Martin by a fraction of a second, sophomore driver Boyer finishes in the Top 10....ON HIS LID!!! He then finishes the season in 3rd.

3. Mark Martin (#01 Army Chevy) - Okay, for a couple years now Mark "The Kid" Martin has been announcing his pending retirement. And yes, every year he races again. This year was a standout. Look at his stats. He's solid and when he straps up with a good ride, it's on!!

1.) The Bus driver, 2.) The Cab driver, and 3.) the Pizza delivery guy. The only reason Johnson and Grodon were drafting Blaney is because they were lapping him. Those guys aren't under rated. They're rated approximately where they deserve to be. If anyone has been under rated this season it would be the #16 or #1 As far as Mark Martin goes, everybody has to like that guy. He could deserve more of a rating, maybe he'll win a race in the #8 DEI car in 2008.

Tony Raines may just be the most underrated driver out there. He had a bunch of decent runs in the Hall of Fame Racing car. Even with ties to Gibbs Racing, this is still a single car team. Dave Blaney is a good choice, and for it being his first year on the circuit, David Ragan did a decent job. Year two for this driver should be much better.

I definitely agree with your pick of Dave Blaney, for the same reasons.
Clint Bowyer got a lot of attention for not being taken seriously, which made people take him seriously, so I wouldn't really call him underrated.
My # 2 pick would be David Stremme. How could you have a season like he had, showed more improvement than any of the sophomore drivers, except Bowyer and Truex, and still lose your ride?
I agree with you on Mark Martin, but he is always underrated. That's what his career has always been about!

1. Clint Bowyer--Finished best in chase Of RCR Drivers in only his 2nd year--And Harvick is supposed to be the Stallion in that stable

2.Mark Martin--came in 27th in points and only ran 1/3 of a season--Would have made chase and a top 10 if he ran all season

3.Dave Blaney--Top finisher for Toyota and competitive--won a pole!!!!!

1) Clint Bowyer in a landslide. With his relatively quiet rookie season he got lost in the hype for other drivers and came on strong late this season.
2) Matt Kenseth- he's so quiet people forget how good he is. REally ran well late in the Chase.
3) Tony Raines- Always runs very solidly. Keeps the DNFs to a minimum. Should make good driver for somebody else next season.

1- Juan Pablo Montoya. because all the un-educated racing fans just listen to what the media says and believe it.

2- david Ragan. has more than enough potential but needs seat time.

3- David Reutimann. when Toyota gets it right this kid will kick a........way to the front of the field.
