Hi, i need to edit a certificate. I need to change the date and name. I have Photoshop CS2 and an all in one printer (CX5000 epson)

Basically it's not as simple as just OCR scanning it and changing the text. I need the text to match the rest of the document, in font and size, etc.

I need it to look like a real genuine certificate. So how would i go about doing this in photoshop?

thanks

Honestly, you don't use OCR for that. You try to match the font, or you just blank that entire section and replace that section with something that is close. You may need to do something to the fonts, like fuzzi-fy them (I don't use tech terms) so it match the rest of the fonts.

Sounds like you want to do something that's illegal and even worse deceitful, and I would advise against such actions. If you do go through with it though keep in mind that you will not be able to do it perfectly and they will probably find out sooner than later that you did it.
