i add the gadget from the windows vista but it just gives me three options of where to add it.. spaces, live.com, and something else.. i've tried all three but none actually show up on my desktop. HELP!

Google Gadgets has the largest selection I have seen and is what I am using on Vista. The new Google toolbar also has some neat new functions like a spell-check that works on anything on tour screen and an auto-fill button for frequently asked information. there are tons more, nut those I use constantly. I'm addicted to the gadgets since I got a 17" screen. I can see them while viewing full pages. Good luck!
