The only religions that have ever been inolved in wars of religion are islam and Christianity. Hinduism is the most tolerant out of all religions. How many wars has hinduism ever started??? Hinduism's tolerance has been exploited as weakness. Go back and get an education beofre posting stupid questions like this. If all Indians were like you, India would be a counry called "eunuch land"

edit: I only speak the truth and nothing else. India ONLY belongs to Hindus, Buddhists, Sikhs and Jians. EVERYBODY else is foreign. As for innocent people being killed, innocent Indians have been dying ever since Islam trespassed and intruded into India. The biggest genocide ever was the murder of one hundred million hindus across the tenure of mughal oppression. Ask yourself deep down, have Indians ever been happy since the 7th century??? If the purpose of 1947 partition was so that Hindus and muslims could live seperately, what are they still doing here??? They might be your brothers and sisters but they are not mine and how dare you say that they are Indian. They should be classed as foreign. I think that you are those types of Hindus that must have been hiding in the kitchen when the mughal soldiers were burning alive hindu men and raping hindu women.

And here the Sathya Sai Thought for the Day,

"Man is the embodiment of Sath-Chith-Ananda (Being-Awareness-Bliss). But he is unable to recognise his true identity because egoism and possessiveness, pomp and pride envelop man's true form of Sath-Chith-Ananda. When he is able to get rid of attachment and hatred, egoism and acquisitiveness, he will recognise his divine nature. The Divine within is covered by these tendencies like ash over a burning charcoal. When the ash is blown away, the fire will reveal itself."

Love and tolerance, forebearing and trust are part of the character of both Islam and Christianity. It is when mankind has other motivations conveniently attached to their religion that we have conflict. Luckily, I have been able to join with Islamic, Jewish and Christian scholars with much benefit, sharing, as we do, as 'the people of the book'. The secret lies in asking the question, 'What motivates you in your faith?' If the answer is other than love, service and faith, then be careful as greed, violence and personal gain have crept into the equation.

If the Truth had been in accord with their desires, truly the heavens

and the earth, and all beings therein would have been in confusion and

corruption! Nay, We have sent them their admonition, but they turn away

from their admonition.

No son did Allah beget, nor is there any god along with Him: (if

there were many gods), behold, each god would have taken away what he

had created, and some would have lorded it over others! Glory to Allah!

(He is free) from the (sort of) things they attribute to Him!

The Greek and Roman gods duked it out all the time. The Egyptian gods killed one another on occasion. Same for the Norse pantheon, I believe.

El/Yahweh/Jehovah/Allah is never seen to fight the others, but his first commandment was "Thou shalt have no other gods before me", so clearly he doesn't approve of them.

That is the whole point dear!
Just look at the nature around you and you will realize that it is a well crafted, beautifully woven web of creative expressions done by ONE and not many gods. Had there been many gods, would'nt there be some conflict as we see amongst human beings? We would have got to see lot of contradictions in nature itself, leave alone holy scriptures. There are no gods but only ONE CREATOR of this whole universe and everything it includes, whether we can see it or not and human beings are fighting either to disagree or agree on this point.

No, gods(with a small "g") get along very well since they all come from the same source......Satan. The general purpose is to get one's attention on anything but the real God Jehovah.

Hehehe! If I did believe in many gods I'd say "heck no!". I have one God so I had to answer this by putting myself in another's shoe. Have a nice day fellow.♥

ill -understood gods!
Those who have created many gods also have made provision for fights between gods and goddesses!
