I saw a hoodie today at WalMart that had the crucified Jesus on it. He had the thorns in his head and blood running down his face. In all honestly to me it looked creepy and morbid.
Anyone actually wear this stuff?

We should be celebreating the resurrection. At least in protestantism that is why you see an empty cross; its a memory that He was there and what He did. The ressurection is what made Him our savior. Many people were crucified on crosses during that time; Jesus was the only one who still lives. Gods peace :)

This is going to sound weird because it was weird to me but my stepson came over with a t-shirt exactly as you described. He's Jewish, has never been to temple OR to a Christian church. I found it a bit disrespectful that he would wear it ironically. I'm not even Christian. Oh well, what to do?

He may be in love with that person on the cross so much that he wants to show it up. Anyway it is far better than wearing some otherthing.

I don't know if that is considered creepy but I would never have expected WalMart to sell an item such as that.

That's horrible and sacrilegious. Probably came from China and is printed with lead paint.

Well, I'm a Christian! Why wouldn't I? Did He tell us to follow Him? That call was not just for his early disciples but for ALL Christians as well! I share in the death and resurrection of out Lord Jesus Christ! Like the Apostle Paul said, "I bear in my body the wounds of Christ!"

No, because the empty cross is more important.

I wouldn't, especially since no one knew what He looked it for sure.

I'd wear it if it had the caption "next Easter I'm just staying home".
