I do have a picture of Jesus looking up toward heaven, in prayer. However, when I pray, I'm not looking at it. However, I will pray with the bible open.

I don't have any pictures of Mary. I do appreciate her going out on a limb like she did. That was a really risky thing to do back then. But I don't pray to her. I do pray to her son.

Peace!

I have no pictures of Jesus, God or anything religious. I have no cross on my wall nor any flag showing anything.

I even have a religious web site. But again, not a single cross, dove, image of Jesus, Mary, God, Heaven, nothing.

Exodus 20:4
Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:

Deuteronomy 4:16
Lest ye corrupt yourselves, and make you a graven image, the similitude of any figure, the likeness of male or female,

Deuteronomy 27:15
Cursed be the man that maketh any graven or molten image, an abomination unto YHWH, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and putteth it in a secret place. And all the people shall answer and say, so be it.

Being a Shawnee Native Indian, which is a Danite, I really try not to have anything to do with graven images. As that was a Danite weakness.

With my library in my home that I have, I am sure there are pictures in the books. I have no pictures other than that. I am a member of the church of Christ.

Yes, why? I have pictures of my family and statues of Spurgeon and Wesley as well. Surely you're not going to associate these with the 2nd commandment....
