You can hear and read criticism of Israeli occupation polices more than the USA press. In the
occupied Palestinian Territories there is press-censorship by the IDF. Most of the IDF crimes is reported by the free Israeli press and we respect them for that.

Yes, Israel has freedom of the press. If you don't believe that, check the postings here where people refer to a newspaper article critical of Israel, from an Israeli paper.
Israel does not get involved in news from the Palestinian Territories. The leaders there, however, censor it. There have been a lot of reporters who came out of the territories saying that if they filmed a particular event, they were told they would have their cameras confiscated.

Yes, Israel is a free country and the press can print anything. The Pa handles their own press

Yes it does.
And as far as the Palestinian autonomous area are concerned, you may want to ask whether the Palestinian Authority or Hamas allows freedom of the press.

Yes, there is freedom of press. There are many books and newspaper articles in Israel openly criticizing the state/government.

It's a bit small but Israel is painted blue, meaning it has freedom of press.
Freedom of press (or lack thereof) in the Palestinian territories is regulated by their own government (Hamas at the moment).

How could they stop it? They aren't the government there. Even if they did nearly every revolution began on the back of an underground press.

Unfortunately international and local journalists are not free to record and report what goes on in the Occupied Territories. I have seen Israeli soldiers cover their cameras and kick them out of areas, and I've also seen them being blocked on the road from going to where news was happening. The soldiers do not want the world to see what is going on when they are engaged in wrongdoing. I've also seen them grab cameras from internationals and rip out the film.

Hi HopelessZ00,
No, there is no freedom. zion corrupts the mind. The newspapers print what they want, and what they want is to show a good face to the world. In that regards they have freedom; but they do not have honesty. They address all issues; they don't hide from them. They address the issues, and they lead the charge and the indignation (if that is called for) but you will note that by leading they charge, they can and do change the course of the story away from danger to zion.
