If it's frozen you must defrost in the refridgerator which means taking it out of freezer 2 to 3 days beforehand. If its cooked you should cover it and let it cool before putting in fridge, away from any raw meats of course. Hope this helps.

I am assuming you are asking if if needs to be refrigerated after it cooks. The answer is yes, otherwise you run the risk of salmonella.
If you are asking if it needs to be refrigerated while thawing, the answer is also yes, for the same reason.
