Are golf clubs cheaper in China? I mean, you would save on importing and exporting the products from China to US.

Most club components like heads, shafts and grips are made in China, even for the big brands. Some are even assembled there, others in the US.

You can buy a lot of branded clubs in China for a fraction of the original price. Needless to say, these are all illegal counterfeits made from inferior material. They look like the real thing, but they don't play like it. Unless you have really good, trustworthy contacts in China I'd stay away from buying there and exporting to the US, even if you're 'quite sure' they are originals.

Above is right. All imports are taxed in China and therefore more expensive then outside of China.

If you see a club for good price it will be a fake.
