I made a whole pot of creamed corn for Thanksgiving yesterday, and after serving most of it, there's still some left in the pot. I have left the pot, with the lid over it, on the counter for a day. Is it still good? The main ingredient, other than corn, is whipping cream. Thanks!

Throw it away. You can't leave something with cream in it sitting around for hours and hours. It's a perfect breeding ground for all kinds of germs. Throw the stuff away.

I wouldn't keep it. Anytime you have a dairy product (whipping cream) which has been at room temperature for 24 hours, the chances are pretty good it's starting to spoil if it hasn't already done so. The ingredients for creamed corn are pretty inexpensive, don't take a chance for a couple of dollars.

NOOO!!!!! DO NOT EAT IT! As a rule of thumb. You usually have at most 4 hours to make a product reach below 38 degrees from the time you take it off of the heat! Do not eat it!

Not if it was at room temperature. The sugars in the corn will have started to ferment and spoil the dish.

im not sure what corn chowder is but it should be ok just put it in the refrigerator u know like how chili is always better when u reheat it for leftovers

no! unless you want to experience food poisoning i strongly suggest that you dont eat it! cream sitting out over night turns bad!
