i would talk to the sgt. first, if he/she is the sort of person you could sit down and talk to. i would explain in non-threatening terms how you felt when they said whatever they said, treated you how they did. they may have an explanation for their behavior that you haven't thought of yet.
if you don't feel safe speaking to the sgt. you should go to someone higher - you must have some variety of human resources office. be prepared to tell them exactly how you feel and exactly what the sgt. said, and it may be necessary to have to talk with the sgt. in the room - so be sure you know how you feel and why you think you feel that way! have specific instances.
i would also start a log of incidences. i have heard of people writing letters to themselves (mailing them and everything!) to have a post-marked proof of the way they were feeling at a specific time when things at work were hairy. it could be useful!

do a formal complaint, or just talk to the sgt. and ask him if he is mistreating u cuz of your hispanic background. i know the way you feel.im 12, half spanish (born in Cadiz, Spain) half american (my dad) and when i wass in spain people mistrated me because i can talk english and my dads american.u c, in spain the have this belief that all americans are rich like bill gates, so they just suposed that we were. but we werent. we were quite poor, acctually. i lived w/ my dad for a while, and since hes american they wouldnt give him jobs. (unemployment percentage in Cadiz/Andalucia/Spain is 16%!) hthey said 'my son doesnt have a job, my dad doesnt have a jobe and my nephew doesnt have a job, why shoud i give YOU a job?' or 'your the american, i should be asking you for a job!'
anyways, just talk to the sgt, and tell him/her that you wish you got along more (if you do) or just smile more and talk to him (small talk). if that doesnt work and he keeps mistreating ou, complain!

How are your evaluations? Are you trying to be objective regarding the criticism? Perhaps you are in conflict because you are too sensitive to their suggestions for improving your work. How can you be cheated out of a job and duties? This statement does not make sense.
