Actually, your body adjusts its metabolism (the rate at which it burns up calories) so that if you eat very little, your body will go into 'starvation mode' and actually consume fewer calories.
That's why 'starvation diets' don't work in the long term: You may lose some weight, but when you start eating normally again, your metabolism has slowed down so much that you quickly gain back all the weight you lost.
The best way to lose weight is a combination of healthy food (low in fat and high in fruits and vegetables) and daily exercise. It's not a good idea to go on any sort of diet without the advice and supervision of a physician, especially when your body is still developing in its teen years!
You should also ask your doctor to test you to see if you have a glandular or metabolic disorder that causes you to gain weight even if you eat very little. These disorders are not that common, but it's a possibility worth looking into.
Remember, your goal should be to lose no more than 2 lbs a week and keep it off. If you lose more than 2 lbs a week, you're losing muscle rather than fat. At the age of 14, you should be developing healthy eating and exercise habits (stay away from the junk food except as an occasional treat!).

Make sure you eat! at least three times each day lots of fruit and veggies, cut sugar fat and preservtives out of your diet, also you can still eat pasta but try to avoid white starches(potato and bread) Make sure you exercise at least three times a week for 30 minutes each time you should see a big differance in about two weeks. Also avoid Soda, Coffee with extras and sports drinks all loaded with sugar. I did this for about 7 months and lost a crazy 88 pounds.(Tae Bo by Billy Blanks workout is awesome if you do it correctly)

you should eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. NO SNACKS! also don't drink regular soda and a lot of juice, they have loads of sugar in them which is fattening. if you really want a snack reach for something healthy like fruit, veggies, quaker snacks, etc. you should exercise at least 30 minutes a day. stress can cause you to gain weight, also depression. but you're also growing, so your body needs some fat. also eat healthy meals and lay off the junk.

You need to eat healthy food and no junk food from fast food places. The second most important thing is to exercise. Good way to start is to get another person to exercise and or walk with you. Just build up the pace and add repetitions to your exercises as you go. Good luck. You are very wise to start this at your age, before it gets too much out of control. Good luck.

All I can say is it's a bad idea to not eat. If you don't eat then you have no energy. Not eating will not help you loose weight. You need to make time, eat healthy, run or job, do a lot of exercising, etc.. Make sure you start eating because it won't help you loose weight.
